HEALTH AND SAFETY MEASURES

! • Stay home if you have symptoms or are sick.

• Only staff feeling healthy will be permitted to work.

• Continue to lower the risk by frequently washing your hands or using hand sanitizer.

• All other facility policies prior to closure also remain in effect. Failure to follow rules or staff instructions will result in loss of facility use privileges.

• Fully vaccinated guests are welcome to enjoy our facility without masks. Those not fully vaccinated are encouraged to still wear masks. Staff are still required to wear masks by City policy. The City does not require proof of vaccinations status from our guests or staff. • It is recommended when possible to maintain six feet of separation from other guests and staff when possible. • Please help keep our facilities safe by using the provided disinfecting wipes on fitness equipment after each use.

• Where additional social distancing measures are needed (i.e. entry & front desk) floor markers will be present to assist in 6-foot distancing. • Strength & cardio equipment have been spread out, rearranged, &/or limited in order to assist in social distancing efforts. • Reminders, guidelines & announcements regarding new health & safety precautions, expectations & requirements will be visible & made throughout the facility.

AURORA CENTER FOR ACTIVE ADULTS Registration is required for designated 1 hour and 15-minute time slots. You can register three days in advance. Space is limited. Reserve your time online. Register at CityofAurora.PerfectMind.com or by calling us at 303.739.7950. When you arrive for your reserved time, we ask you to wait outside of the facility remaining 6 feet away from one another. Upon entry into the facility, please adhere to staff direction and signage to check in at the front desk.

IN-PERSON ADULT CRAFTS CROCHET & KNITTING* Ages 16 & older Fix common crochet and knitting mistakes, read patterns, tension your yarn and discover how simple finishing details can make your project a success. A #5 smooth bulky yarn and size 6 mm needles or hooks, or what you are working on. SATURDAY QUILT BLOCK This class is intended for quilters of all levels. This class will be in person at the Aurora Center for Active Adults. ACAA VIRTUAL LEARNING SPANISH-INTERMEDIATE Instructor can teach class in real time, communicate with students and test levels of comprehension via live video instructional format. Students should have a foundation of the Spanish language including the alphabet, basic phrases, spelling and previous experience conjugating basic verbs. Students should be self-starters, wanting to improve Spanish for travel, workplace or conversation. COED TUMBLING

Ages 2-3 Designed to increase a toddler’s coordination and motor skills while still receiving support from a parent or guardian. Focuses on jumping, balancing and body control with developmentally appropriate games and equipment.

Ages 6-10 Children are introduced to the basics of gymnastics tumbling. Focus is placed on floor tumbling and beginning tricks on a trampoline or air track. Bars and beam are used to develop balance and strength.

JITTER BUGS Ages 3-4 Children learn to follow teacher instructions, taking turns and playing well with others in simulating gymnastics setting. Each child is encouraged to progress at their own individual pace as they learn a variety of tumbling skills, jumps, bar hangs and balancing exercises.

GIRLS BEGINNER GYMNASTICS Ages 6-12 Girls are divided and progress at their own pace to work on strength, balance, coordination, agility and flexibility on equipment. Circuits and stations help students master beginning skills. Great for those trying gymnastics for the first time to those needing extra drills and skills practice.

Our Preschool Programs focus on readiness, self-help and language skills as wells as social, emotional and motor development. Challenger Sports will provide quality instruction to participants ages 3-14 at a ratio of no more than 15:1 in all areas of soccer including but not limited to dribbling, passing, receiving, shooting and other technical and tactical areas in a fun and safe environment. SKYHAWKS SPORTS CAMP

SkyHawks.com/Colorado Skyhawks provides a safe, fun, non-competitive environment to teach sports to children ages 4 to 14. Our programs are designed to give each child a positive introduction into sports and ensure they walk away with a smile on their face wanting to learn more. Our knowledgeable and patient staff use a variety of games and activities to give each athlete an overview of the sport while building valuable skills. Since 1979, Skyhawks has taught over two million boys and girls Life Skills through Sports, such as teamwork, respect and sportsmanship. Skyhawks will provide each participant a t-shirt, ball and award. Skyhawks ratios differ from sport to sport but will not exceed a 14:1 ratio.
