HEALTH AND SAFETY MEASURES

! • Stay home if you have symptoms or are sick.

• Only staff feeling healthy will be permitted to work.

• Continue to lower the risk by frequently washing your hands or using hand sanitizer.

• All other facility policies prior to closure also remain in effect. Failure to follow rules or staff instructions will result in loss of facility use privileges.

• Fully vaccinated guests are welcome to enjoy our facility without masks. Those not fully vaccinated are encouraged to still wear masks. The City does not require proof of vaccinations status from our guests or staff. • It is recommended when possible to maintain six feet of separation from other guests and staff when possible. • Please help keep our facilities safe by using the provided disinfecting wipes on fitness equipment after each use.

• Where additional social distancing measures are needed (i.e. entry & front desk) floor markers will be present to assist in 6-foot distancing. • Reminders, guidelines & announcements regarding new health & safety precautions, expectations & requirements will be visible & made throughout the facility.

CROCHET BEADED JEWELRY

Ages 16 & older Make yourself a sparkly accessory or a thoughtful gift. Once you learn the technique you can vary the bead spacing, mix up the colors, add a button detail and wear them in multiples. Students should have knit or crochet experience. Kit included in fee, and contains a printed pattern, silk thread, beads, two needles, buttons for closures and a small crochet hook. LEGALLY BLONDE @ JESTERS DINNER THEATER Legally Blonde is a 2007 musical with music and lyrics by Laurence O’Keefe and Nell Benjamin and book by Heather Hach. The story is based on the novel Legally Blonde by Amanda Brown and the 2001 film of the same name. It tells the story of Elle Woods, a sorority girl who enrolls at Harvard Law School to win back her ex-boyfriend Warner. She discovers how her knowledge of the law can help others, and she successfully defends exercise queen Brooke Wyndham in a murder trial. Throughout the show, very few characters have faith in Elle Woods, but she manages to surprise them when she defies expectations while staying true to herself. FORNEY MUSEUM The Forney Transportation Museum is a transportation museum located in Denver. It is named after the founder, J.D. Forney, who started Forney Industries, Inc., in Fort Collins. The museum maintains a collection of approximately 500 exhibits. Its early years were focused on antique automobiles, but the focus soon expanded to other modes of transport. The museum has a slogan, “Anything on Wheels,” and includes the following items: Big Boy Locomotive #4005, Amelia Earhart’s ‘Gold Bug’ Kissel and the Forney Locomotive 0-44T. After the tour, we will head to the Denver Stockyard Saloon for lunch (lunch is on your own). Fee includes admission, tour guide and transportation. Experience Christmas the way it was 100 years ago in the Old West. Saint Nicholas attends in traditional dress, as do Victorian carolers and dancers. There is a daily procession of the Santa Lucia. Sixth Street in historic downtown is lined with twinkling lights and holiday reefs. Lunch on your own at the many cafes or tour one of the museums. CLASS DESCRIPTIONS FIRE FLIES Age 5 Play centered skill development is encouraged through fun and exciting drills and games. Focused activities are on individual gymnastics events with basic skills being taught on the bars, beam, floor, trampoline and vault trainer.

COED TUMBLING Ages 6-10 Children are introduced to the basics of gymnastics tumbling. Focus is placed on floor tumbling and beginning tricks on a trampoline or air track. Bars and beam are used to develop balance and strength.

PRESCHOOL PRESCHOOL PROGRAMS

The city of Aurora offers a continuous preschool program during the school year (Aug.-May) for children ages 2 ½-5 years old. Must be potty trained for child only classes. Our Preschool Programs focus on readiness, self-help and language skills as wells as social emotional and motor development. Please call the location you are interested in for more information and to enroll your child. Classes begin August 23, 2021. PARENT/TOT: Class is designed for children ages 18 months to 2 years. This program is 1 ½ hours in length and meets 1 day a week. Must be 18 months by the start of the class. Adult attends with the child.

KINDER KIDS: Class is designed for children entering kindergarten in fall 2022. This program meets 2 or 4 days days per week, for three hours. Must be 4-years-old by Oct. 1 of the school year.

TODDLING TOTS: Class is designed for children age 2 ½-3 years. This program is 2 hours in length and meets 2 days a week. Must be 2 ½-3 years old by the start of class.

COMBO CLASS: Ages 3-4. Must be 3-years-old/4-years-old by Oct. 1 of the school year. Combo Class meets 2 or 4 days a week for 2½-6½ hours each day.

ADULT SPORTS CITY OF AURORA SPORTS CREDIT & REFUND POLICY: Due to inclement weather or circumstances beyond our control, it is possible that all scheduled games cannot be completed within the advertised dates of the season. The city of Aurora will make every reasonable effort to reschedule cancelled games and practices. A season will be considered complete when a team has two games remaining. Teams/Individuals not reaching the minimum game threshold are eligible for pro-rated credits. Lost practice sessions are not eligible for credit or refund. Individual refunds/credits are based on an individual case and are subject to pro-rated criteria.
