HEALTH AND SAFETY MEASURES

• Stay home if you have symptoms or are sick or if anyone you have come in contact with has symptoms or is sick. Please consult your medical professional for advice. • In accordance with state & local privacy & confidentiality laws & regulations, organizations are required to notify local health officials to aid in contact tracing if exposures occur. Please contact us if you or a family member has tested positive for COVID–19 following recent attendance of any recreation facilities or programs. • Individuals at risk of severe illness from COVID-19 are strongly encouraged to consider remaining at home or in the vast great outdoors as much as possible. Individuals at risk of severe illness from COVID-19 means: - 65 years of age or older; - have cancer; - have chronic kidney disease; - have chronic obstructive pulmonary disease; - are immunocompromised; - have body mass index of 30 or higher; - have serious heart conditions; - have Sickle cell disease; - have Type 2 diabetes mellitus; and - other individuals determined to be high risk by a licensed healthcare provider. • All individuals must wear face coverings in public indoor spaces and outdoors when social distancing is not possible. Individuals in Colorado are ordered to wear medical or nonmedical face covering due to the presence of coronavirus (COVID-19) by Executive Order (EO) D 2020 138. Those with a medical exemption, will not be allowed to enter the facility because they pose a direct threat to the health and safety of others. Face Coverings cannot be worn in the water but should be worn while entering/exiting the pool or while on the pool deck. • Please always maintain six feet of separation from other guests & staff.

• Where additional social distancing measures are needed (i.e. entry & front desk) floor markers will be present to assist in 6-foot distancing. • Between reservation time slots, each facility is closed for 15-minutes to clean & disinfect between groups. 30-minute closures may be included during high traffic times. • Only staff feeling healthy will be permitted to work. • Strength & cardio equipment have been spread out, rearranged, &/or limited in order to assist in social distancing efforts. • Reminders, guidelines & announcements regarding new health & safety precautions, expectations & requirements will be visible & made throughout the facility. • Please help keep our facilities safe by using the provided disinfecting wipes on fitness equipment, washing your hands frequently & using hand sanitizer. • Come ready to work out & we suggest leaving bags at home as certain amenities (including locker rooms) will be limited. Locker room & shower usage will be limited due to Covid. Please come dressed prepared for your activity. • Water fountains will be inactive. Touchless bottle fillers will be available so please bring your own water bottle. • Indoor Pools (Beck, Central & Moorhead Recreation Centers): Upon entry, every lap swim guest will be assigned a chair that may be used to rest or place swim related items such as towel, water bottle, goggles, kick board, etc. Portable open showers are available on the pool deck for patrons to rinse off prior to & after entering the pool. Patrons who have reserved water walking slots must be respectful of others while walking. Always walk to the right side of the lane & if passing, do so quickly to the far left. • All other facility policies prior to closure also remain in effect. Failure to follow rules or staff instructions will result in loss of facility use privileges.

WE’RE OPEN!

THREE OF OUR RECREATION CENTERS – BECK, CENTRAL & MOORHEAD. Registration is required for designated 1 hour & 15-minute time slots. You can register three days in advance for any of these facilities. Space is limited! Reserve your time online. Register at CityofAurora.PerfectMind.com or by calling us at one of the recreation centers or registration office during our open hours. When registering online, login to your account. Under View Activities, Recreation – Guest Slot • Choose the location and activity area. Only one activity area per time slot. • Follow the prompts. • Pay with your membership or our drop-in fee. That’s it! Show up on your reserved day before your time slot to check in. Guests are asked to wait outside of the facility in a line remaining 6-feet away from one another (signage will be provided) OR in your vehicle until a staff member permits entry. Upon entry into the facility, please adhere to staff direction & signage to check-in at the front desk. Staff will verify that you have signed up for the given time slot. If you have a member ID please have it ready to scan upon check-in at the front desk.

Let us bring our teaching kitchen to into the comfort of your home! Join us for a 2-hour class where you can cook along live with one of our talented chefs. We’ll walk you through the entire menu, sharing our tips and expertise while providing opportunities to virtually connect and share the dishes we create together. PRESCHOOL PRESCHOOL PROGRAMS

The city of Aurora offers a Continuous Preschool Program during the school year (Aug. - May) for children ages 3- 5-years-old. This month the city of Aurora is offering both in-person and virtual learning options. Our Preschool Programs focus on readiness, self-help & language skills as well as social, emotional & motor development. In-person classes are being held at each preschool location. City of Aurora Preschools have put into place health and safety measures based on guidance from of the Tri-County Health Department and the Colorado Department of Human Services for in-person learning. Virtual learning consists of a connection circle with the entire class and a small group on the days your child is enrolled. We also continue the education experience on our parent information system with lots of fun and interactive activities. A complete registration packet is due upon the child’s first day of preschool.
