The Colour Rendering Index (CRI) is a scale of measurement used to determine how accurately artificial lighting reproduces an object’s colour, compared against natural lighting.
CRI is measured as a number between 0 and 100. At CRI0 all colours would look the same, but at CRI100 you would see the object’s true colour.
CRI80 and above is often considered good for most lighting, however CRI90 or more is considered excellent.
