Our Change Makers issue highlights four women in the community
LISTS The
WELCOME TO THE LIST
Welcome to Austin Woman’s Change Makers List, comprised of women who are making significant and intentional strides to uplift Austin’s community. This list represents phenomenal names in art, C-Suite, entreprenuership, food, wellness, style, technology and more. This list is by no means exhaustive. We at Austin Woman have found that the unfortunate norm on lists like this shows a significant lack of women and people of color. While we can’t list each and every phenomenal woman in Austin, we sincerely hope this breaks through the other lists to reflect the Change Maker we and our community come across in the area. This list showcases an array of women in Austin and the surrounding areas from all walks of life, with varied professional backgrounds, passions, visions and experiences. Yet, they all have one thing in common –they’re Change Makers leaving a positive impact in our great city, even if they are rarely recognized for doing so. Just because you can’t see it, doesn’t mean it’s not happening all around you. We hope that this list brings you hope – and builds confidence in the generation of women change makers to come.
