he Diploma of Beauty Therapy course offers students intensive training in the beauty & spa industry to give students the skills to work in their chosen area of these exciting and rapidly expanding industries. During the course students will have the opportunity to work with customers in the beauty and spa environment, performing treatments under supervision and guidance from the trainers. Studying Beauty with us ensures that you are part of a smaller class with attention from qualified tutors with years of experience and skills in the beauty field. The skills students obtain are learned by and practiced by their instructor — their mentor.

STUDENT THERAPIST UNIFORMS
The Student ID Card can be used to receive discounts for software of other items from participating retailers. Students who wish to receive concession travel allowances will need a Student ID card as well as apply through Translink for a student ready GoCard (note: you must be a Queensland resident).
It is a requirement of the course to be dressed in a therapist uniform when attending classes.
PRINTING AND PHOTOCOPYING We provide printing accounts for students to use the printers at each of the campuses. The minimum credit that can be purchased is $25.00 and once purchased students are provided with a login to the printers to print their items. Printed items are charged as below... *
BASIC STATIONERY Students will need to provide basic stationery.
• Students must remove false nails prior to starting the course. • Presentation is an integral part of the industry therefore strict rules regarding piercings; uniform and appearance need to be adhered to. • Students will be required to supply their own Black Trousers, Black Shoes and Black Socks to wear to classes. • During term 1, students will be provided with a school t-shirt. • From term 2, students will be provided with a therapist tunic.
LAPTOP COMPUTER & DESIGN SOFTWARE Students will be required to have a laptop computer with a wireless network connection to be able to access our wireless network. Please check this course’s webpage to see the laptop and software minimum requirements.

2 ATTEND THE APPOINTMENT Attend a student interview and complete the short interview questionaire and application form.
3 RECEIVE ACCEPTANCE LETTER Successful applicants will receive an acceptance letter along with enrolment forms and student handbook in the mail.
4 RETURN ENROLMENT FORM To enrol return the signed enrolment form.
