The Friends of Piesse Brook began as a community group in 2000. Members have worked over the years to rid the area of invasive weeds in order to restore local flora and the habitat of local fauna.
This Interpretive Trail was established in 2012 by the Friends on Piesse Brook Inc. It was made possible by a grant from the Department of Parks and Wildlife (DPaW). DPaW also provided valuable assistance with wording, graphic design and structures.
The Interpretive Trail has been established to provide an additional enjoyable experience for the many visitors who wander through this beautiful environment, perhaps unaware of the natural wonders here.
