AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING SYSTEMS IMPROVE DRAMATICALLY IN NEW MODELS
A recent study by AAA reveals that automatic emergency braking (AEB) systems in new cars are twice as effective as those installed just a few years ago. AEB systems, which use sensors to detect imminent collisions and apply the brakes automatically, have become a vital part of vehicle safety features. The study compared 6-to-7-year-old systems against the latest 2024 models, revealing that while older systems worked only 51 percent of the time, modern systems prevented crashes 100 percent of the time.
AAA tested vehicles including the 2024 Subaru Outback, Nissan Rogue, and Jeep Grand Cherokee against their 2017-2018 counterparts. While older models struggled, particularly at higher speeds, the 2024 versions of these cars performed flawlessly. The Subaru Outback stood out, with both the 2018 and 2024 models achieving 100 percent collision prevention in tests. This improvement signals how far AEB technology has come and underscores the commitment to vehicle safety in the latest models.
STELLANTIS PARTNERS WITH FACTORIAL FOR SOLID-STATE BATTERY INNOVATION
Stellantis is pushing forward in the electric vehicle race with an exciting new collaboration with battery startup Factorial to incorporate solid-state batteries into future models. Stellantis, known for brands like Dodge and Chrysler, plans to debut a demonstration fleet of Dodge Charger Daytona vehicles by 2026 equipped with these advanced batteries. The collaboration aims to enhance EV performance, range, and charging speed using Factorial’s solid-state technology.
Solid-state batteries promise several key advantages over traditional lithium-ion batteries, including 33% smaller size, faster charging times, and greater energy density. Despite these benefits, the road to mass production is fraught with challenges, particularly the
high costs and lithium supply concerns. Stellantis’ commitment to this technology, however, positions them as a leader in the future of electric vehicle innovation.
VOLKSWAGEN’S BRUSSELS PLANT FACES SHUTDOWN AMID FALTERING EV DEMAND
Volkswagen is facing a potential closure of its Brussels plant , home to the production of the Audi Q8 E-Tron , as sales of high-end electric vehicles (EVs) fail to meet expectations. Despite the plant’s ability to produce 120,000 vehicles annually, sales of the luxury EV have fallen significantly, with only 23,900 units delivered this year. Volkswagen is considering shutting down the plant, which has been producing vehicles since 1949 , as the automaker grapples with the challenges of an oversaturated and underperforming European EV market.
The potential closure threatens 3,000 jobs and has sparked protests among workers and unions in Belgium. Union leaders argue that automakers miscalculated demand by focusing on expensive EV models that are beyond the reach of average consumers. Volkswagen’s struggles highlight the broader challenges facing the EV market in Europe, as automakers must adapt to shifting consumer preferences and pricing challenges to remain competitive.

TASCA AUTO GROUP
ACQUIRES EXPRESSWAY TOYOTA IN BOSTON, EXPANDS INTO NEW TERRITORY
Boston, MA
The Tasca Auto Group, a storied family-owned dealership known for its rapid expansion and customer-centric approach, has acquired Expressway Toyota in Boston. This acquisition marks a significant milestone for Tasca, as it is the group’s first Toyota dealership. With the addition of Toyota, the company now operates over 30 locations, representing 13 major automotive brands.
A Family Legacy of Expansion
Founded by Bob Tasca Sr. in 1943, the Tasca Auto Group has steadily grown from its humble beginnings as a small Ford dealership in Rhode Island into a regional powerhouse with dealerships across several states. Known for the slogan “You Will Be Satisfied,” Tasca has built a reputation for providing exceptional customer service and a wide selection of vehicles, ranging from luxury models to more practical daily drivers.
The acquisition of Expressway Toyota is the latest step in Tasca’s aggressive expansion strategy, which has seen the company add a wide variety of brands to its portfolio. In addition to Toyota, Tasca dealerships now offer Audi, Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat, Ford, GMC, Hyundai, Jeep, Kia, Lincoln, Mazda, Ram, Subaru, and Volvo vehicles, catering to a broad spectrum of customers across the Country.
“We are thrilled to bring Toyota into the Tasca family of dealerships,” said Carl Tasca Jr, of the Tasca Auto Group. “Toyota is synonymous with reliability and innovation, and we are excited to offer these vehicles to our loyal customers while maintaining the same level of service that has defined Tasca for generations.”
A Storied History
Bob Tasca Sr. built the foundation of the Tasca Auto
Group on the principle of customer satisfaction. His hands-on approach and dedication to service excellence quickly established Tasca as one of the most trusted names in automotive sales and service. The Tasca family’s philosophy of “You Will Be Satisfied” became more than just a slogan—it became the cornerstone of the company’s business model, creating a loyal customer base that has spanned decades.
In addition to its retail operations, the Tasca family has deep roots in motorsports, particularly in Ford racing. Bob Tasca Sr. was instrumental in the development of Ford’s Cobra Jet engine and is credited with coining the phrase “win on Sunday, sell on Monday,” reflecting the deep connection between motorsports success and dealership sales. His legacy has continued through his sons and grandchildren, who now manage and oversee the group’s ongoing expansion.
A Rapidly Expanding Footprint
The acquisition of Expressway Toyota underscores Tasca’s ambition to continue expanding its presence in the automotive market. Over the past few years, the company has made a series of strategic acquisitions, expanding from its original base in Seekonk Massachusetts, into key markets across the country.
The group’s ability to represent such a wide range of manufacturers, from high-performance brands like Dodge and Ford to family-friendly lines such as Chevrolet, GMC, and now Toyota, positions Tasca as a major player in the national auto retail market.
The addition of Toyota to Tasca’s portfolio is particularly significant, given the brand’s reputation for reliability,
fuel efficiency, and cutting-edge hybrid and electric technology. Toyota has long been a leader in producing eco-friendly vehicles, such as the Prius, and with the rise of electric vehicle demand, Tasca’s ability to offer Toyota models enhances their lineup as they meet the needs of environmentally-conscious consumers.
A Commitment to Customer Satisfaction
While Tasca’s portfolio has grown substantially over the years, the company remains committed to the principles that Bob Tasca Sr. instilled over 80 years ago. At the heart of Tasca’s business is the belief that satisfied customers are the key to long-term success. From sales to service, the company has maintained a customer-first approach that has been instrumental in its sustained growth.
“Our family has always believed that when you treat people with respect and provide them with an exceptional experience, they will return,” said Carl Tasca Jr. “That philosophy has carried us through generations, and we look forward to bringing it to Toyota customers in the Boston area.”
Looking Ahead
As the Tasca Auto Group continues its expansion, the acquisition of Expressway Toyota signals the group’s intention to strengthen its presence in key markets and continue offering a diverse range of vehicles to meet the evolving needs of consumers. With over 30 dealerships and a long-standing reputation for customer satisfaction, the Tasca family shows no signs of slowing down. In the words of the Tasca family: “You Will Be Satisfied.
Q3 2024 Auto Sales in the USA:
Who’s Up, Who’s Down, and the Surprise Comebacks
The third quarter of 2024 proved to be an interesting, if not turbulent, time for the U.S. automotive market. With an industry-wide decline of 1.8%, the numbers tell a mixed story of steady performers, surprise overachievers, and a few notable underperformers. Some automakers found ways to weather the storm, while others stumbled amidst shifting consumer preferences and economic challenges.
Let’s break down the key players and what these sales numbers mean for the industry.
The Strong Performers: Who Bucked the Trend?
Mitsubishi Motors Corp. - 42.3% Increase
Mitsubishi delivered one of the most surprising performances of Q3 2024 with a 42.3% sales increase. The Japanese automaker moved 31,588 units compared to 22,196 in Q3 2023, an impressive leap forward. Mitsubishi has been leaning into its crossover and SUV lineup, with models like the Outlander gaining traction, particularly with budget-conscious buyers seeking reliability and practicality in a tough economic climate.
Jaguar Land Rover N.A. - 29.6% Increase
Luxury SUVs continue to dominate the market, and Jaguar Land Rover capitalized on that trend in a big way with a 29.6% sales increase, delivering 30,670 units in Q3 2024. The resurgence of the Land Rover Defender and the continued popularity of the Range Rover lineup have clearly paid off. JLR’s ability to blend off-road capability with luxury seems to resonate well with affluent buyers looking for something both rugged and premium.
Mazda N.A. - 24.9% Increase
Mazda’s continued focus on design, driving dynamics, and fuel efficiency has paid dividends, with a 24.9% increase in sales, pushing them to 110,966 units for Q3 2024.
Mazda’s CX-5 and CX-90 have been particularly strong, attracting both younger buyers and families looking for a
stylish alternative in the crowded crossover market.
Lotus Cars - 1,400% Increase
Lotus stunned the market with an astronomical 1,400% increase in sales, moving from just 10 units in Q3 2023 to 150 units in Q3 2024. This meteoric rise is largely due to the debut of the Lotus Emira, which has drawn attention from sports car enthusiasts who appreciate the brand’s lightweight, high-performance ethos. While the numbers are still relatively small, they reflect a major step forward for a brand that had been somewhat dormant in the U.S. market.
Lucid - 50% Increase
The luxury EV maker Lucid saw a 50% jump in sales, moving 1,200 units compared to 800 the previous year. Despite competition from heavyweights like Tesla, Lucid’s focus on ultra-high-performance electric sedans like the Lucid Air has found a niche among affluent early adopters of EV technology who want both performance and exclusivity.
Polestar - 90.5% Increase
Polestar continues to carve out a strong position in the EV market, posting a 90.5% increase with 4,000 units sold in Q3 2024. This jump suggests that Polestar is gaining momentum as a stylish and well-engineered alternative to more established players like Tesla. The Polestar 2 sedan has been particularly well received for its minimalist design and solid performance.
VinFast - 900% Increase
VinFast, a relatively new player from Vietnam, made a
big splash with a 900% increase, moving 1,500 units compared to just 150 in Q3 2023. While the numbers remain modest, the Vietnamese automaker has clearly piqued consumer interest with its affordable EV offerings. VinFast’s rapid growth suggests that buyers are willing to give emerging brands a shot in the ever-expanding electric vehicle market.
The Mixed Bag: Stable, But Slipping
Ford Motor Co. - 0.7% Increase
Ford managed a modest 0.7% increase, delivering 500,495 units in Q3 2024. While not a stellar leap, it’s important to remember that Ford remains a dominant player, especially in the pickup truck segment with the F-150 continuing to perform well. Ford’s slight increase suggests it is holding steady, but the relatively flat growth may indicate some challenges in other segments, especially with the competition heating up in the EV space.
General Motors Co. - 1.9% Decrease
GM saw a slight 1.9% dip, with 656,531 units sold, down from 669,271 in Q3 2023. The small decline could be attributed to supply chain issues that continue to plague the industry, but GM remains a strong performer thanks to its robust lineup of trucks and SUVs. However, the company’s transition to EVs, particularly with the Chevy Silverado EV and the GMC Hummer EV, will be critical in determining its trajectory in the next few quarters.
Tesla Motors Inc. - 3.2% Decrease
Tesla, which had dominated the EV market for years, saw a 3.2% decline, selling 150,000 units in Q3 2024 compared to 155,000 in Q3 2023. With growing competition from both legacy automakers and startups like Rivian and Lucid, Tesla’s stranglehold on the EV market is loosening. The dip suggests that while Tesla remains a dominant force, its position as the top EV manufacturer is being tested.
The Struggles: Declining Sales
BMW of N.A. - 9.3% Decrease BMW, which typically enjoys a loyal customer base, saw a 9.3% drop in sales this quarter, with 83,812 units
sold compared to 92,374 the previous year. This decline might be attributed to increased competition from luxury brands like Audi and Mercedes-Benz, as well as supply chain disruptions that have affected production across the industry.
Toyota Motor N.A. - 8.0% Decrease
Toyota, usually a stalwart of consistent sales, saw an 8.0% decline, moving 542,876 units in Q3 2024 compared to 590,296 in 2023. This dip can be partly attributed to inventory shortages and increased competition in the hybrid and EV segments, where Toyota is playing catchup compared to companies like Ford and Tesla.

Hydrogen on the Horizon: How BMW and Toyota Are Partnering to Shape the Future of Zero-Emission Vehicles
The automotive world is rapidly evolving as manufacturers strive to reduce carbon emissions and explore alternative fuel technologies. Among the buzz around electric vehicles (EVs), hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs) have quietly been gaining traction as a compelling alternative. While battery electric vehicles (BEVs) have taken the spotlight in recent years, hydrogen-powered cars promise a future with faster refueling, longer range, and a cleaner energy cycle. And now, two of the world’s most innovative automakers, BMW and Toyota, are doubling down on this technology through a new partnership aimed at accelerating hydrogen fuel cell development.
In a world increasingly focused on sustainability and carbon neutrality, this partnership is a major leap forward. Let’s dive into the state of hydrogen technology, how it compares with battery electric vehicles, and why this collaboration between BMW and Toyota could change the game for clean mobility.
The State of Hydrogen Vehicle Research: A Glimpse of the Future
Hydrogen fuel cell vehicles (FCEVs) have long been touted as the next frontier in zero-emission mobility, but they’ve lagged behind BEVs in terms of consumer adoption. The reasons for this are varied: a lack of hydrogen infrastructure,
higher development costs, and the complex engineering involved in creating reliable fuel cell systems have all posed challenges. However, hydrogen’s potential is enormous. Unlike BEVs, which rely on electricity from the grid to charge batteries, hydrogen-powered vehicles use fuel cells that generate electricity on-board by combining hydrogen and oxygen, producing only water vapor as a byproduct.
This process makes FCEVs particularly appealing for those seeking zero-emission solutions, especially in regions where long driving ranges, quick refueling, and minimal environmental impact are priorities. Hydrogen can also be produced using renewable energy, making it a clean and sustainable option for future mobility.
Both BMW and Toyota have recognized hydrogen’s potential, and they’re investing heavily in the technology as part of their broader carbon neutrality goals. Toyota has been a pioneer in hydrogen vehicles with models like the Mirai, while BMW has pursued hydrogen research since the 1970s. This new partnership aims to bring their collective expertise together to drive down costs and develop a new generation of FCEVs.
Hydrogen vs. Electric: A Comparison of Two Clean Technologies
As the auto industry works toward a zero-emissions future, hydrogen and battery electric vehicles (BEVs) are two of the main paths forward. Each technology offers its own set of advantages and challenges. Let’s break it down.
Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs)
PROS:
Widespread infrastructure : Charging stations are becoming increasingly available, especially in urban areas.
Efficient use of energy: BEVs have high energy efficiency and no direct emissions.
Proven technology: Popular models like the Tesla Model 3 and Ford Mustang Mach-E have showcased the potential for mass adoption.
CONS:
Long charging times: Even with fast charging, it can take 30 minutes to an hour to recharge a BEV, depending on the battery size.
Range anxiety: Although improving, BEVs still suffer from limited range compared to traditional gasoline or hydrogen vehicles.
Battery production concerns : Manufacturing batteries involves mining rare metals like lithium and cobalt, which raises environmental and ethical concerns.
Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicles (FCEVs)
PROS:
Quick refueling: Hydrogen vehicles can refuel in 3-5 minutes, similar to gasoline cars.
Long range: FCEVs can travel over 300 miles on a single tank, making them suitable for long-distance driving.
Lower environmental impact: When produced from renewable sources, hydrogen has a much smaller carbon footprint compared to batteries, which rely on mined materials.
CONS:
Limited infrastructure: Hydrogen fueling stations are few and far between, making it difficult for widespread adoption outside of select regions.
High costs: Hydrogen production and fuel cell technology remain expensive, although partnerships like BMW and Toyota’s aim to reduce these costs.
Ultimately, both technologies will likely coexist in the future, serving different needs. BEVs may dominate in urban areas with established charging networks, while FCEVs could be the solution for long-haul driving, commercial vehicles, and regions where quick refueling and long range are essential.
BMW and Toyota: A Powerhouse Partnership for Hydrogen’s Future
In this rapidly evolving landscape, BMW and Toyota are building on a decade-long collaboration to advance hydrogen technology. The two automotive giants have worked together since 2011 on environmental
technologies, including fuel cells and shared powertrain development. Now, they’re entering a new phase of their partnership with plans to co-develop a third-generation hydrogen fuel cell system, set to be introduced in both of their vehicle lineups.
Both companies share a common vision: creating a “hydrogen society” where hydrogen is a central energy source, contributing to carbon neutrality across multiple sectors. They plan to install their co-developed fuel cell systems in new models, with BMW expected to launch its first mass-produced FCEV by 2028
BMW has been testing its iX5 Hydrogen prototype, which features a fuel cell system developed in collaboration with Toyota. The next step is series production, with plans to integrate the fuel cell option into existing BMW models by 2028, offering customers an additional all-electric powertrain option with zero local emissions. Oliver Zipse, Chairman of BMW’s Board of Management, called this a “milestone in automotive history,” predicting significant demand for FCEVs as the technology matures.
Synergies and Cost Reductions
One of the primary goals of this partnership is to reduce the cost of hydrogen fuel cell systems. By pooling their resources and combining powertrain units, BMW and Toyota hope to achieve economies of scale, making FCEVs more affordable for consumers and businesses alike. The shared development process also aims to lower the costs of hydrogen production, storage, and distribution, key factors in making the technology economically viable. Beyond vehicle development, the two companies are working with hydrogen producers, distribution companies, and refueling networks to ensure a stable and costeffective hydrogen supply. This end-to-end approach, from hydrogen generation to infrastructure development, is crucial for fostering widespread adoption of FCEVs.
A Vision for a Hydrogen Society
BMW and Toyota’s partnership goes beyond cars; it’s about
creating a hydrogen economy that can fuel entire industries. Hydrogen has the potential to play a major role in decarbonizing sectors that are difficult to electrify, such as heavy-duty transportation, aviation, and industrial manufacturing. Both companies are keen to push governments and investors to expand hydrogen infrastructure and support the adoption of FCEVs alongside other green technologies like battery electric vehicles.
Toyota has long viewed hydrogen as a key energy source for achieving carbon neutrality. As Koji Sato, President of Toyota, noted, this collaboration is not just about cars but about building a future where “hydrogen energy supports society.” Both companies believe in a “multi-pathway” approach to carbon neutrality, which includes BEVs, hybrids (HEVs and PHEVs), and FCEVs, allowing for a diverse range of options to meet different needs and environments.
The Road Ahead
With BMW and Toyota leading the charge, the future of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles looks promising. Although there are still significant hurdles—most notably the need for better infrastructure and lower costs—their partnership is a major step forward in making hydrogen a mainstream energy source for the automotive world.
For consumers, this collaboration means more choices and greater innovation in the coming decade. Hydrogenpowered vehicles may soon offer the range, refueling speed, and low environmental impact that will make them a viable alternative to both gasoline and electric cars. And with automakers like BMW and Toyota behind the wheel, the road to a hydrogen-powered future seems a little clearer.
In the quest for cleaner, more sustainable transportation, hydrogen fuel cells could be the missing piece of the puzzle—and BMW and Toyota are positioning themselves to make that vision a reality.

• The Smith: A classic choice for hearty American fare, The Smith has several locations in the city and offers a festive atmosphere with comforting dishes like mac and cheese, short rib, and roasted chicken, perfect for a cozy meal after a day of exploring.
Final Tips
• Transportation: The holiday season is busy in New York, so driving in the city can be challenging. It’s often easier to park outside Manhattan and take the subway or use ride-sharing services like Uber to navigate the city’s attractions.
• Timing: To avoid crowds, consider visiting popular spots like Rockefeller Center and Bryant Park early in the morning or later in the evening. If you’re visiting Dyker Heights, go in the evening to see the lights at their best.
New York City in December is a dream for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the magic of the holidays. With so many iconic attractions, festive events, and unforgettable experiences, your readers will find the city full of holiday cheer at every turn.
Why You Should Buy a Used Car from a New Car Dealer, Not a Used Car Lot or Private Seller
When buying a used car, one of the most important decisions you’ll make is where to purchase it. You might be tempted to buy from a used car dealer, a private seller online, or even a friend, but there’s a strong argument for choosing a new car dealership for your used vehicle purchase. Here’s why buying a used car from a new car dealer can provide you with greater peace of mind, better long-term support, and a smoother buying experience.
1. Trust and Reputation: A New Car Dealer’s
Reputation
is on the Line
New car dealerships have millions of dollars invested in their business, and their success is deeply tied to maintaining a strong reputation in the community. They are franchises representing major automakers, and one bad deal or customer complaint can significantly damage their standing. These dealerships often strive to uphold their reputation by providing excellent customer service, ensuring their used cars are well-maintained, and backing up the sale with comprehensive support.
In contrast, used car dealers may not have the same level of accountability. Many are smaller, independent businesses without the brand recognition or corporate oversight that new car dealers have. While some used car lots are reputable, others may cut corners in reconditioning vehicles or overlook issues to make a quick sale. If you run
into problems with the vehicle, they may not have the resources or willingness to assist you after the sale.
2. Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) Programs and Warranties
One of the biggest advantages of buying from a new car dealership is the option to purchase a Certified PreOwned (CPO) vehicle. These programs are backed by the automakers themselves and come with a range of benefits that are hard to match elsewhere, including:
• Multipoint inspections that ensure the vehicle meets strict manufacturer standards.
• Extended warranties that often cover major components like the engine, transmission, and electrical systems, giving you protection that’s nearly as good as a new car warranty.
• Roadside assistance and other perks like free maintenance for a specified period.
If you purchase a car from a used car dealer or a private seller online, you’re unlikely to receive these kinds of assurances. Many used car lots offer limited or no warranties, meaning you’re on your own once you drive off the lot.
With private sellers, there’s often no warranty at all, leaving you vulnerable to hidden issues that could surface later.
3. Full Transparency: Avoiding Hidden Problems
New car dealers are more likely to provide full transparency about the history and condition of their used vehicles. Many will offer vehicle history reports through services like Carfax or AutoCheck, which detail any accidents, title issues, and previous ownership records. In addition, new car dealerships often provide detailed inspections and may even offer reconditioning services to address any issues before the car goes up for sale.
On the other hand, buying from a private seller or an online marketplace can be much riskier. Private sellers have little obligation to disclose problems, and some might be trying to hide major issues like engine trouble or flood damage. If you purchase a car that turns out to have significant issues, you could be left with expensive repairs and no recourse. Worse, if you suspect the seller knew about the problems and didn’t disclose them, you’d need to go through the hassle of proving it in court—a long and stressful process with no guarantee of success.
4. Avoid Awkward Situations with Friends
Buying a car from a friend might seem like a good idea at first, but it can quickly become a minefield. If the car turns out to have issues that weren’t immediately apparent, it could strain or even ruin your friendship. Even if the problems are minor, disagreements over who’s responsible for repairs can create lasting tension. When it comes to buying something as expensive and crucial as a car, mixing personal relationships with financial transactions is often a recipe for trouble.
At a new car dealership, you’re dealing with professionals who are experienced in handling every aspect of the transaction
and can offer objective advice, reducing the emotional pressure that comes with buying from someone you know.
5. Support After the Sale
One of the standout benefits of buying from a new car dealer is the ongoing support you’ll receive even after you drive the car off the lot. New car dealerships have extensive service departments that can handle maintenance and repairs, often with the same technicians who service brand-new vehicles. They also offer the convenience of in-house financing, extended warranties, and service packages, which can save you money and ensure your vehicle is well-maintained for years to come.
In contrast, many used car dealerships may not have full service departments or may outsource repairs, which can lead to delays and inconsistent work quality. Private sellers, of course, offer no such support, leaving you on your own to handle any repairs or maintenance.
6. Trade-Ins and Financing Options
Buying from a new car dealership also offers the advantage of trade-in options. If you have a current vehicle you’d like to sell, most new car dealerships will give you a fair market value for your trade, applying it directly to the purchase of your new car. This can save you the hassle of selling your vehicle privately, which can be timeconsuming and stressful.
Additionally, new car dealers typically offer financing options through established lenders. They can often secure better interest rates than used car dealers or private sellers, and the convenience of handling all the paperwork in one place makes the buying process much easier. They can also handle the registration and title transfer for you, eliminating another potential headache.
7. Wherewithal and Accountability
New car dealerships have the financial resources and infrastructure to back up their promises. With millions of dollars tied up in their operations, they have both the incentive and the ability to stand behind their products. If something goes wrong with your purchase, they have the wherewithal to make it right—whether that’s through offering repairs, refunds, or replacement vehicles.
Smaller used car lots, on the other hand, may lack the financial cushion to offer the same level of accountability. If they go out of business or simply refuse to help, you may be left with little recourse. Private sellers are even riskier, as once the transaction is complete, you typically have no protection if something goes wrong.
The Bottom Line: New Car Dealers Offer Peace of Mind
When you’re investing in a used car, peace of mind is essential. Buying from a new car dealership ensures that you get a high-quality vehicle backed by warranties, a trusted reputation, and full transparency. They provide a level of customer service and after-sales support that simply cannot be matched by used car dealers or private sellers. With the option to trade in your current vehicle, secure financing, and rely on the dealership for ongoing maintenance, buying from a new car dealer is a smart, low-stress way to ensure that you drive away with a reliable, well-vetted car.
In short, when you buy a used car from a new car dealer, you’re not just purchasing a vehicle—you’re investing in a long-term partnership with a business that’s dedicated to your satisfaction.
2025 Infiniti QX80 Debuts:
Bold Design, High-Tech Interior, and Effortless Power
Luxury SUV buyers will find new levels of craftsmanship and tech sophistication in Infiniti’s latest offering.
The full-size luxury SUV segment has seen significant growth over the past decade. This class of vehicles appeals to affluent buyers looking for a combination of opulence, space, and performance. The demand for large luxury SUVs has surged due to their ability to offer both family-friendly functionality and highend features, providing a blend of practicality and status.
The Infiniti QX series has a long-standing history as Infiniti’s flagship line of SUVs, known for offering robust performance, high-end luxury, and advanced technology. The QX80, in particular, has been the brand’s toptier model, designed to compete with the heavyweights of the full-size luxury SUV market.
Early Years and Evolution
• QX4 (1996-2003): Infiniti’s first venture into the luxury SUV space was the QX4, a mid-size luxury SUV that shared its platform with the Nissan Pathfinder. It was one of the early players in the luxury SUV
market but was later overshadowed by larger competitors.
• QX56 (2004-2013): The true precursor to the QX80 was the QX56, which debuted in 2004 as a fullsize luxury SUV built on the Nissan Armada platform. It was praised for its spaciousness and strong V8 engine but struggled to match the Escalade and Navigator in terms of prestige.
• QX80 (2014-Present): In 2014, Infiniti rebranded the QX56 as the QX80, aligning with Infiniti’s new
naming convention. The model offered a more refined design and advanced features, slowly gaining traction in the competitive full-size luxury SUV market. Over the years, the QX80 evolved with minor updates in design, powertrain, and technology, but it lagged behind competitors in terms of cutting-edge features and power.
The 2025 Infiniti QX80 enters a highly competitive segment of full-size luxury SUVs that includes some of the most powerful and luxurious vehicles on the market. With a bold new design, advanced technology, and an upgraded powertrain, Infiniti aims to position the QX80 as a strong contender against established players like the Cadillac Escalade, Lincoln Navigator, and Lexus LX.
The 2025 Infiniti QX80 has been completely redesigned blending bold design, advanced technology, and a focus on comfort across its three rows. As Infiniti’s flagship model, the QX80 showcases a renaissance in both design and engineering.
Performance and Powertrain
Under the hood, the 2025 QX80 is powered by a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine delivering an impressive 450 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque— significant improvements over the outgoing model. This engine is paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission, boosting low-end acceleration by 27% and improving highway fuel economy by 12%. Rear-wheel-drive models achieve an estimated 16 mpg city and 20 mpg
highway, while four-wheel-drive variants return 15 mpg city and 19 mpg highway. With a best-in-class towing capacity of 8,500 pounds, the QX80 proves its practicality as a capable hauler.
Exterior Design
The 2025 QX80 introduces Infiniti’s new “Artistry in Motion” design language. Its bold and confident posture is enhanced by strong lines and distinctive proportions. The anti-wedge profile and nearly flat hood create a sleek sense of motion, while the double-arch grille, inspired by bamboo forest shapes, underscores its powerful demeanor. The front end features narrow, multi-element LED daytime running lights and an illuminated Infiniti emblem, all contributing to a commanding presence. The rear showcases a full-width LED light bar, adding elegance and symmetry to the design.
Interior and Technology
Inside, the QX80 is a showcase of luxury inspired by the Japanese principle of miyabi—aesthetic elegance that emphasizes soft materials and flowing technology integration. Semi-aniline leather, wood trims, and laser-cut metal inlays elevate the cabin’s craftsmanship. Front and center are two 14.3inch screens, including the Infiniti InTouch® system with Google built-in for seamless navigation and app integration. A color head-up display and a separate 9-inch touchscreen handle climate control and drive modes.
Passengers will appreciate the expansive panoramic moonroof and personalized ambient lighting, with 64 color options. Practical touches include eight USB Type-C ports throughout the cabin, a wireless phone charger, and a cool box for beverages.
Premium Audio Experience
For audiophiles, the QX80 is the first in its class to offer a Klipsch® premium audio system. The entry-level models come equipped with a 14-speaker system, while higher trims offer a 24-speaker Klipsch Reference Premiere system, boasting an immersive sound experience with Individual Audio capabilities—allowing different audio content to be directed to specific passengers, such as navigation directions only for the driver.
Safety and Driver Assistance
The QX80 comes loaded with a suite of safety features, including Predictive Forward Collision Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Warning, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert. The ProPILOT Assist 2.1 system
is available on higher trims, offering hands-off freeway driving in specific conditions, enhancing driver comfort on long journeys.
Advanced Camera Systems
Innovative camera technology includes the Invisible Hood View, allowing drivers to see what’s under the front of the vehicle—ideal for avoiding curbs or obstacles. The Front Wide View provides a 170-degree perspective, particularly useful for navigating tight corners or garages. Additionally, the Smart Rear View Mirror and 3D Around View Monitor® make parking and trailer hitching easier.
Comfort Across Three Rows
The 2025 QX80 ensures comfort for all passengers, with heated seats now available for the third row and massaging seats for both front and second rows. Biometric Cooling is a segment-first feature that detects when passengers are warm and automatically adjusts airflow to cool them down.
Trim Levels and Pricing
• PURE RWD: $82,450
• PURE 4WD: $85,550
• LUXE RWD: $89,550
• LUXE 4WD: $92,650
• SENSORY 4WD: $100,645
• AUTOGRAPH 4WD: $110,595
Key Competitors
The 2025 Infiniti QX80 faces stiff competition from several well-established rivals:
• Cadillac Escalade: Known for its massive road presence, cutting-edge technology (like the curved OLED displays), and V8 powertrain options, the Escalade has been a dominant player in this segment. It also offers a high-performance Escalade V variant.
• Lincoln Navigator: Like the Escalade, the Navigator emphasizes luxury with plush interiors, including premium leather and wood trims. Its
Black Label trim adds extra exclusivity, making it one of the top competitors in terms of luxury and comfort.
• Lexus LX: Lexus’s flagship SUV, based on the Toyota Land Cruiser, combines off-road ruggedness with luxury. It appeals to a slightly different demographic than the Escalade or Navigator due to its heritage as a robust, adventure-ready vehicle.
• Mercedes-Benz GLS: The GLS emphasizes luxury and technology with its MBUX infotainment system, high-quality materials, and a range of engines, including the highperformance AMG models.
• BMW X7: BMW ’s largest SUV offers sporty driving dynamics along with luxury features, making it a choice for buyers who value a dynamic driving experience in addition to comfort.
Each of these competitors brings unique strengths, whether it’s the tech-forward approach of the Cadillac Escalade or the robust off-road capabilities of the Lexus LX. The QX80’s redesign and new features aim to bridge the gap between these distinct personalities by offering both high-end luxury and cutting-edge technology, packaged in a bold design.
Buyer Demographics and Usage
Full-size luxury SUVs cater primarily
to affluent buyers, often middle-aged or older, who have the financial means to purchase a premium vehicle that can comfortably seat seven or eight passengers. These vehicles are popular among families, executives, and business owners who value a commanding road presence, comfort, and the latest technology. A common thread among these buyers is the desire for a vehicle that blends prestige with practicality, offering both an upscale experience and the ability to tow, haul, and transport passengers comfortably.
Primary uses include:
• Family transport: Full-size luxury SUVs are popular with families, especially those needing extra cargo and seating space. The third row is a key selling point, as are features like massaging seats, premium sound systems, and advanced safety features, which make long road trips comfortable.
• Towing and leisure activities: Many buyers use these vehicles for towing boats, trailers, or recreational vehicles, thanks to their powerful engines and high towing capacities. The QX80’s best-in-class 8,500-pound towing capability makes it a great option for families with recreational needs.
• Status symbol: These vehicles are also status symbols, often chosen by those who seek to project success, power, and luxury through their car. Features like personalized ambient lighting, panoramic sunroofs, and premium audio systems elevate the in-cabin experience.
Buyers in this segment tend to prioritize high levels of craftsmanship, advanced driver assistance technologies, and comfort for all passengers, not just the driver. This is evident in the growing demand for rear-seat entertainment systems, thirdrow heated seats, and high-end materials used throughout the cabin. Infiniti’s focus on hospitality and seamless technology integration in the QX80 directly appeals to this group.
Sales Performance
While the Infiniti QX80 has not been a top seller compared to the Escalade or Navigator, it has carved out a loyal
following, especially among buyers who prefer a unique, less ubiquitous choice. Over the years, its sales have been steady, thanks to its competitive price point, reliability, and ability to balance luxury with family practicality.
However, the QX80 has consistently been viewed as somewhat of an underdog in its class. Its design had grown somewhat dated before this major 2025 refresh, and its sales numbers reflected this. In 2022, Infiniti sold around 14,000 units of the QX80 in the U.S., significantly fewer than the Cadillac Escalade, which sold over 40,000 units in the same year. Infiniti is clearly aiming to change this with the all-new 2025 model, which brings significant upgrades in every department.
The 2025 Infiniti QX80 represents a major leap forward for Infiniti, both in design and engineering. With a sleek, modernized exterior, a luxurious and high-tech interior, and a powerful twin-turbo V6 engine, the new QX80 is poised to be more competitive than ever in the full-size luxury SUV market.
Infiniti is focusing on delivering not just luxury but also a unique sense of hospitality and convenience through features like Biometric Cooling, which adjusts temperature based on the passenger’s body heat, and Individual Audio, which allows the driver and passengers to listen to different audio streams simultaneously. Combined with ProPILOT Assist 2.1, Infiniti’s most advanced driver assistance suite, the QX80 looks to attract a techsavvy, comfort-focused buyer.
While it remains to be seen if the 2025 Infiniti QX80 will overtake the Escalade or Navigator in sales, it offers a compelling alternative for buyers seeking a distinctive, luxurious, and well-equipped full-size SUV. With a more refined design, innovative features, and impressive towing and power capabilities, the QX80 has significantly narrowed the gap between itself and the top players in the segment.
For buyers looking for a less conventional luxury SUV with top-notch craftsmanship, innovative technology, and commanding road presence, the 2025 Infiniti QX80 should certainly be on their list.

Cranston Collision: A Trusted Name in Auto Repair, Now
Tesla Certified
Cranston Collision, a family-owned auto body shop in Cranston, Rhode Island, has long been recognized for its reliable service and commitment to quality repairs. Founded in 1975 by Dennis Gamba, the shop has grown from a two-person operation to a large, state-of-the-art facility capable of handling repairs for both traditional and electric vehicles. With their recent Tesla certification, Cranston Collision continues to lead the way in specialized vehicle repair.
A Legacy of Service and Commitment
Dennis Gamba established Cranston Collision nearly 50 years ago, building the business on a foundation of highquality workmanship and customer service. In 1996, the shop moved into a new, purpose-built $2.5 million facility located on Walnut Grove in Cranston. The larger space allowed the shop to expand its services while continuing to meet the needs of a growing customer base.
Cranston Collision remains a family-run operation. Dennis’ wife, Sharon Gamba, serves as Vice President and has worked at the shop since 1985. Their son, Dennis Dean, is actively involved in management, overseeing customer service. Peter Gamba, Dennis’ brother, also plays a key role in the daily operations, upholding the family’s commitment to quality and service. This hands-on approach from the Gamba family ensures that every customer’s experience is handled with care and professionalism.
Investing in the Future: Tesla, Lucid, and Rivian Certifications
Cranston Collision is known for staying at the forefront of industry developments. Recently, the shop earned certification from Tesla, enabling them to handle repairs for one of the world’s most popular electric vehicle brands. Gamba explained that the certification process took nearly 18 months, requiring specialized training and new equipment to meet Tesla’s standards. The shop is now one of only three Tesla-certified facilities in Rhode Island, with their ranking determined by Tesla’s real-time performance metrics.
In addition to Tesla, Cranston Collision has also achieved certification to repair vehicles from Lucid Motors, a luxury electric car manufacturer. The shop is set to become Rhode Island’s only certified Lucid repair facility, with technicians having completed extensive training to work on these advanced electric vehicles. By December, Cranston Collision expects to add Rivian certification to their portfolio as well, making them one of the few shops in the region capable of servicing the latest electric trucks and SUVs.
A Focus on Training and Quality
One of the cornerstones of Cranston Collision’s success is their commitment to ongoing training and certification. Every technician at the shop is I-CAR certified, meaning they receive regular, up-to-date training on the latest repair techniques. This ensures that Cranston Collision is always equipped to handle both routine repairs and the more complex demands of modern vehicles, including those with electric drivetrains.
Cranston Collision holds certifications from over 20 manufacturers, including Honda, Acura, Nissan, GM, Subaru, and Infiniti. Maintaining these certifications requires frequent audits to ensure that repairs are done to the manufacturer’s specifications, which helps guarantee the safety and value of every vehicle that passes through their doors.
Expanding Facilities and Capabilities
In response to growing demand, Cranston Collision
expanded their facility during the COVID-19 pandemic, adding a new 7,000-square-foot building dedicated to painting and vehicle programming. This investment has enabled the shop to improve workflow and reduce repair times, which is crucial when servicing high-tech vehicles like Teslas and Lucids. The shop also operates a separate detailing facility, which has been in operation for over 15 years, providing customers with comprehensive care for their vehicles.
Reviews Reflect Exceptional Service
Cranston Collision has earned a reputation for outstanding customer service, reflected in numerous positive reviews from satisfied clients. Customers consistently praise the shop’s professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to make the repair process as seamless as possible. One customer shared that her 2014 Lexus RX 350 “looked brand new again” after being repaired at Cranston Collision, noting the complimentary loaner vehicle and detailed finish upon return.
Another customer, described his experience as the “most helpful, professional, nice, polite, generous” business interaction he had ever encountered, feeling treated like a long-time friend throughout the process. One review also highlighted the shop’s new Tesla certification, describing the staff as “friendly and knowledgeable” and recommending Cranston Collision for anyone in need of repair work.
Customers frequently mention the exceptional work done by Peter Gamba, who is often the main point of contact for service updates. One customer described Peter as a “pleasure to deal with,” while another noted that Peter “kept me updated every step of the way,” making her repair experience fast and worry-free.
Many other customers have echoed similar sentiments about the shop’s high level of care and communication, with one client calling the staff “a step above” after her car, a 20-year-old model, was returned in showroom condition.
Cranston Collision’s Role in the Community
Beyond their work in collision repair, Dennis Gamba has also been an active member of the Rhode Island Auto Body Advisory Board, where he helps regulate and license auto body shops throughout the state. This involvement demonstrates the Gamba family’s broader commitment to the industry and their community, ensuring that both consumers and businesses benefit from fair and transparent practices.
Moving Forward
With nearly five decades of service, Cranston Collision continues to evolve, investing in new technologies, certifications, and facilities to meet the needs of today’s vehicles. Their commitment to quality, backed by industry-leading training and family values, has made them a trusted name for auto repair in Rhode Island. As the automotive industry continues to shift toward electric vehicles, Cranston Collision is well-positioned to remain a leader in the field, offering certified repairs for Tesla, Lucid, Rivian, and more.

With Warmer Winters, Do I Still Need to Prepare My Car as Much as Before?
As winters in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut have become milder in recent years, many drivers are questioning whether the traditional winter car preparations are still necessary. After all, with fewer snowstorms and less ice on the roads, the harsh conditions that have historically defined New England winters seem to be fading. But even as winters warm, car maintenance remains crucial for keeping your vehicle safe and reliable. Here’s why.
The Importance of Winterizing Your Car
Regardless of how mild the winter might be, the months from December to February still bring lower temperatures, shorter daylight hours, and unpredictable weather patterns. It’s not just heavy snowstorms or freezing rain that affect your vehicle; even moderate cold and frost can impact performance. Here are a few key areas that require attention, even if the winter feels less extreme: 1. Tires
While you might not face as many icy roads, cold temperatures still affect your tires’ performance. Allseason tires can harden in low temperatures, reducing traction even on dry roads. Winter tires, which are designed to stay flexible in cold weather, are still a smart choice when temperatures consistently drop below 45°F. Even without heavy snow, frosty mornings and occasional ice patches can make the roads slippery, especially early in the day.
2. Battery Health
Car batteries are sensitive to temperature changes, and cold weather reduces their efficiency. Even if you’re not dealing with sub-zero temperatures, overnight lows in the 20s or 30s can drain battery power. It’s important to have your battery tested and replaced if needed, ensuring that you don’t end up stranded with a dead battery on a chilly morning.
3. Windshield Wipers and Washer Fluid
Winter roads might not always be snow-covered, but they can still be wet and messy. Slush, rain, and road salt can reduce visibility. Winter wiper blades and freeze-
resistant washer fluid can help you maintain a clear view, even if you’re dealing with more rain than snow.
4. Fluids and Oil
Cold temperatures cause engine oil to thicken, making it harder for your engine to start and run smoothly. Even during warmer winters, it’s essential to check your oil’s viscosity and ensure that it’s suited for colder weather. Additionally, antifreeze remains vital for keeping your engine from freezing or overheating. Make sure all fluids are topped off and winter-ready.
5. Road Salt and Rust Prevention
Even without heavy snow, local municipalities still treat roads with salt or brine when there’s a chance of frost or ice. Salt can accelerate rust and corrosion on your vehicle, especially on the undercarriage. Regular washes, especially after a storm or a frosty morning when roads are treated, help prevent long-term damage.
Dealing with Temperature Swings
Another important consideration is the unpredictable nature of winter in New England. One week, temperatures might hover in the 40s, and the next week, they can plunge into the teens. These swings can take a toll on your vehicle’s components, particularly tires and batteries, which are sensitive to fluctuating temperatures.
For example, air pressure in tires drops as the temperature decreases. If you haven’t checked your tire pressure during a warm spell, you could find yourself with dangerously low pressure when the cold returns. Regular tire checks
are just as important now as they were when winters were more consistently cold.
Climate Change and Its Impact on Roads
Warmer winters bring more frequent rain than snow, leading to a different kind of road hazard: standing water. Hydroplaning becomes a bigger concern during warmer, rainy winters. Ensuring your tires have proper tread depth and your brakes are in good condition will help you navigate wet roads safely. Additionally, road infrastructure is often still built with heavy winter conditions in mind, which means that milder winters can cause frost heaves or potholes as water seeps into cracks and freezes on colder nights.
The Bottom Line
Even if winters are warmer and snowstorms less frequent, preparing your car for winter remains a smart and necessary practice. The colder months still bring unique challenges
that require attention—whether it’s tire performance, battery health, or rust prevention. Taking these precautions can save you time, money, and frustration in the long run, keeping your car running smoothly and safely through another New England winter.
While the weather might be changing, the need for good car care never does.
RV REVIEW: Winnebago Ekko
A Modern Class C Adventure Machine
Winnebago
Ekko:
A Modern Class C Adventure Machine
When you hear the name Winnebago, it evokes a deep sense of adventure and road trips stretching back decades. As one of the most iconic brands in the RV industry, Winnebago has a rich history that began in 1958 when the company was founded in Forest City, Iowa. Over the years, they’ve become synonymous with quality craftsmanship, innovation, and reliability. Winnebago is perhaps best known for their larger motorhomes, but they’ve also made a significant impact on the Class C RV market, consistently introducing new models that push the envelope for design and functionality.
Winnebago’s Legacy with Class C RVs
Winnebago has long been a leader in the Class C RV category. Class C motorhomes are characterized by their cab-over design, built on a cutaway chassis, typically offering a middle ground between the spaciousness of a Class A and the maneuverability of a Class B. Winnebago has made several popular Class C models, including the Minnie Winnie and Spirit, both of which have been favorites for families due to their affordability, comfortable interiors, and strong resale value.
The Winnebago View and Navion have also made a mark in the Class C segment, offering luxury features on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis. These models appeal to travelers looking for a premium experience with the versatility to navigate tighter roads and campgrounds.
Enter the Winnebago Ekko: All-Season, All-Terrain Versatility
The 2024 Winnebago Ekko takes Class C RVs into new territory—both figuratively and literally. Built on a Ford Transit chassis with an all-wheel-drive (AWD) system, the Ekko is designed to handle not just highways but off-road adventures. This is a relatively rare feature for Class C RVs, which traditionally have been more focused on comfortable on-road travel.
The Chassis: Ford Transit with AWD
The Ekko’s foundation is the Ford Transit AWD chassis, equipped with a
3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost engine that delivers impressive power and fuel efficiency. The AWD capability means the Ekko can handle various terrains, from muddy backroads to snowy mountain passes, making it ideal for those who want to camp off the grid or explore remote areas.
The Transit’s cab provides excellent driver visibility, a user-friendly dashboard with modern tech (including a touchscreen with navigation), and multiple safety features such as adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist.
Interior Design: Comfort Meets Adventure
One of the most notable aspects of the Ekko is its thoughtful interior design. Winnebago has done an excellent job maximizing space within its 23-foot length. Despite its compact size, the Ekko feels surprisingly roomy, thanks to its innovative layout. The RV offers seating and sleeping for up to four people, with two twin beds that can be converted into a single larger bed if desired.
The galley kitchen comes with a refrigerator, two-burner propane stove, and microwave, making meal prep on the road easy. There’s plenty of counter space and smart storage options, including a pantry and overhead cabinets. The Ekko also features a wet bath with a swiveling toilet and a fold-down sink, allowing for efficient use of space. For those cold winter nights or hot summer days, the Ekko is equipped with all-season insulation, including heated holding tanks, making it a true four-season RV. You can comfortably camp in a variety of climates, whether you’re hitting the desert or chasing winter snow.
Off-Grid Capabilities
The Winnebago Ekko truly shines in its off-grid features. Many RV enthusiasts want to escape the crowds and camp in more remote locations, and the Ekko is designed with these adventurers in mind. It comes standard with a 455-watt solar panel system and lithium-ion batteries, ensuring you have power even when you’re far from a hookup. There’s also a secondary alternator attached to the engine that can recharge the battery system as you drive.
The Ekko includes a Truma VarioHeat furnace and Truma AquaGo instant hot water system, both of which are efficient and reliable in maintaining warmth and hot water for showers or dishwashing. Combined with a 50-gallon freshwater tank and an eco-friendly cassette toilet, the Ekko is well-suited for boondocking or camping in areas without utility connections.
Storage and Outdoor Living
Storage is often a concern for RVers, but the Ekko addresses this with a surprising amount of space. The rear gear garage is large enough to store bikes, camping equipment, or even kayaks. This makes the Ekko perfect for those who want to bring along adventure gear without sacrificing living space inside the RV.
The RV also features an outdoor kitchen option, complete with a small refrigerator, sink, and table, making it easy to enjoy meals outside while taking in the scenery.
Technology and Safety Features
Winnebago has packed the Ekko with modern technology. The onboard control panel is accessible through a touchscreen interface that monitors battery levels, tank capacities, and other essential systems. Additionally, the EcoBoost engine is both powerful and fuel-efficient, providing a smooth drive, even when climbing steep terrain.
Safety is a priority in the Ekko, and its Ford Transit base includes advanced safety features like:
• Adaptive cruise control
• Lane-keeping assist
• Forward-collision warning
• Emergency braking assistance
These features add peace of mind while driving, especially on long road trips or when navigating through unfamiliar terrain.
Competition in the Class C Market
While the Winnebago Ekko is a standout in its category, it does face competition from other manufacturers. Some notable competitors in the Class C off-road RV market include:
• Thor Gemini AWD: Built on the same Ford Transit AWD chassis, the
Gemini offers a similar all-weather capability but with different interior features and configurations.
• Coachmen Cross Trek: Another rugged option for those seeking an off-grid lifestyle, with solar capabilities and large tanks for extended stays away from campgrounds.
• Leisure Travel Vans Wonder: A luxury Class C RV also built on the Ford Transit chassis, focusing on upscale interiors and tech features, though without the off-road focus of the Ekko.
RV Directory
Final Thoughts: The Winnebago Ekko’s Unique Appeal
The Winnebago Ekko has redefined what a Class C RV can be by offering the versatility and ruggedness typically found in off-road vehicles, but with the comfort and amenities of a well-designed motorhome. Its AWD capability, paired with off-grid readiness and smart use of space, makes it a top choice for adventurers who want to take their travels beyond the pavement.
Whether you’re planning a trip to the mountains in winter, camping by the beach in summer, or exploring offthe-grid locations, the Ekko provides an all-in-one solution for a wide range of travel experiences. It’s an excellent example of how Winnebago continues to innovate while staying true to its legacy of quality and craftsmanship.
