Equipped with a 2.5 L Atkinson cycle engine, it features the latest version of Toyota’s Hybrid Synergy Drive, which offers the equivalent of 200 net horsepower10. The Camry Hybrid LE delivers a combined fuel economy rating of 5.7 L/100 km, while the sporty Hybrid SE has a rating of 5.9 L/100 km. EV & ECO MODE Camry Hybrid has different modes for different types of driving. EV Mode allows you to drive short distances at low speeds using the electric motor only. Not only does this save on gas but it also reduces noise and lowers emissions. Driving in ECO Mode further saves on fuel by controlling both air-conditioning and accelerator pedal power output. (6) Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) is an electronic system designed to help the driver maintain vehicle control under adverse conditions. It is not a substitute for safe driving practices. Factors including speed, road conditions and driver steering input can all affect whether VSC will be effective in preventing a loss of control. Please see your Owner’s Manual for further details. (7) Brake Assist is designed to help the driver take full advantage of the benefits of ABS. It is not a substitute for safe driving practices. Braking effectiveness also depends on proper brake-system maintenance and tire and road conditions. (8) Smart Stop Technology operates only in the event of certain simultaneous brake and gas pedal applications. When engaged, the system will reduce engine power to help the brakes bring the vehicle to a stop. Factors including speed, road conditions, driver input can all impact stopping distance. Smart Stop Technology is not a substitute for safe and attentive driving and does not guarantee instant stopping. Please see your Owner’s Manual for further details. (9) Do not rely exclusively on the Blind Spot Monitor System and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert System. They are not collision-avoidance systems or substitutes for safe and attentive driving. (10) The maximum output indicates engine plus HV battery output.
