and strong, NV’s cargo area features 36 integrated reinforced cargo-mounting points to reduce the possibility of shelving tearing out, and eliminating the need to drill into sheet metal, reducing the risk of corrosion. On the roof, up to 10 solid mounting points for roof racks help keep ladders and pipes securely fastened. B. Electric power zones. Running the tools you need is easy with 120-volt outlets in the centre console and cargo area. Seats feature an individual backrest design, independent headrests and integrated shoulder belts for comfort and security. Slide-out under-seat cup holders, overhead A/C vents and available reading lights and power outlets provide comfort and convenience. There are even two floor heater vents for every row, with dual heater units in the front and rear so no one’s left out in the cold. The airbag system3 incorporates dual-stage supplemental front airbags3 which inflate according to crash severity and seat belt usage. Side-impact supplemental airbags3 are built into the seat, so they move with you. Roof-mounted curtain supplemental airbags3 help provide head protection in the event of a side impact or rollover.3

The 24-valve, 4.0-L V6 features an advanced Continuously Variable Valve Timing Control System that delivers seamless power with optimum fuel efficiency. Step up to the 5.6-L V8 and you’ll find an aluminum block with a forged crankshaft and cast-iron cylinder liners for maximum strength. Both engines feature specially coated piston skirts and microfinishing of key components to help reduce friction for smooth response and less wear and tear. Backed up by a rugged 5-speed automatic transmission, the NV is built for the long haul – and just about anything you need to bring along.
Advanced technology, including an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD), are there to help protect you. Vehicle Dynamic Control. NV’s VDC system helps you stay on your steered path by reducing engine speed and/or applying appropriate brake pressure to specific wheels.4
