Backup Collision Intervention1,4 is a visionary technology that extends your awareness and your confidence. It scans the area behind your car, and—as you back up—it’s designed to warn you if it detects rear cross-traffic and large stationary objects. It’s even engineered to brake for you to help you avoid them. Blind Spot Intervention®1,5 helps increase your sense of well-being by using radar to watch carefully for danger you may not see. If it detects a vehicle in the blind spot area, it warns you, and is engineered to intervene to help you avoid a collision. Active Lane Control ™ 1,6 is a world’s-first technology that uses a camera to detect lane markers. It’s engineered to work in concert with the Direct Adaptive Steering,™ to compensate for a sloping road or crosswind to help you hold the centre of the travel lane with less effort and fewer corrections.

Lane Departure Prevention1,7 watches road markings with a camera and is designed to subtly apply brakes to help keep your vehicle from unintentionally drifting from the traveling lane when you haven’t signaled. Traffic may surround you, but so will confidence. Intelligent Brake Assist 1,8 with Forward Collision Warning1,9 uses a sensor to continuously monitor and analyze your closing speed to the vehicle ahead of you, helping detect an imminent collision. It alerts the driver and—if needed—is engineered to automatically engage the brakes to help reduce the impact speed.
