Every Accent comes standard with six airbags 1, Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Traction Control System (TCS) 2, and front active head restraints. One of the most important aspects of safety is prevention – and that’s why so much research has been put into our class-leading braking technology. The Accent is the only car in its class to offer 4-wheel disc brakes as standard (sub-compact class). Also standard is Anti-lock braking with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist. EBD recalibrates the braking force between front and rear wheels to maximize stopping ability, and Brake Assist ensures that maximum braking force is applied when you need it most.

The primary measure of a small car is fuel consumption, and the Hyundai Accent is at the top of its game. With superior Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI) engine technology, the Accent is able to precisely control the injection of fuel and delivers an impressive 138 horsepower, 123 lb-ft of torque and 5,2L/100 km (AT) highway fuel economy. If it can make you go further, we’ve incorporated it: an offset crankshaft design, an electronic throttle control, and even low-rolling resistance silica tires that reduce friction with the road.

It all adds up to greater fuel efficiency.

Bluetooth ® Hands Free Phone System.

Staying in touch means being able to talk to friends and colleagues whenever you want to. With available Bluetooth® Hands Free functionality, you can make and receive phone calls hands free through the car’s stereo system, keeping things safe and convenient.
