CERAMIC GLOW PLUGS Even if it drops to frigid conditions overnight, you still have to get to work in the morning. With advanced Bosch® ceramic glow plugs, you can have your engine firing in less than two seconds even at that bone-chilling temperature.

And these plugs were built to last – they’ll be around for the life of the engine, with no maintenance.

LIGHTWEIGHT CGI BLOCK The new Cummins® 5.0 L V8 Turbo Diesel gives you maximum durability and power in a lightweight package. Extra weight was shed by building the cylinder block out of compacted graphite iron (CGI), which is stronger and lighter than traditional iron.

Other lightweight engine components were added, like high-strength aluminumalloy heads and composite valve covers.

MONITOR Smart technologies are designed to help monitor conditions. Like a warning to let you know you’re straying from your lane, or a system that helps ensure you’re travelling on properly inflated tires.

RESPOND

Blind Spot Warning (BSW). If another vehicle is detected in the blind spot area, an indicator appears in the driver’s or front passenger’s door pillar and on the Advanced Drive-Assist® Display. Then, if you put your turn signal on, the indicator flashes with a warning chime.1,2,3

Whether you need to hit the brakes hard or manoeuvre around an unexpected obstacle, these standard technologies help you respond to a potentially harmful situation.

Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) helps you maintain your steered path.8 Traction Control System (TCS) helps reduce wheelspin in low-traction situations.

Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) helps you maintain steering control around obstacles while braking heavily.

Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD) sends extra force to the rear brakes when you have additional weight of passengers or cargo in the back.

Brake Assist (BA) helps apply maximum braking force if it detects hard braking and senses you are in an emergency situation.9

Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA). When you’re backing out of a parking space, this feature watches the area around the rear of your TITAN® XD and can warn you about vehicles detected that you might not see behind you approaching from either side.

Front and Rear Sonar System. TITAN® XD’s parking sonar gives you an added ally in your pursuit of parking, with sensors on all four corners looking out for static objects and giving you an audible warning when it detects you’re getting close.3,11

PROTECT When a collision is unavoidable, Nissan’s Zone Body construction helps absorb the impact while the seat belt and airbag systems help protect passengers.10

Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) TPMS lets you know when a tire is low.7
