These optional systems are designed to see what you might miss. Using discrete sensors hidden in the side and the rear bumpers, Blind Spot Monitoring alerts you via an icon displayed in the appropriate door mirror when a vehicle enters a blind spot on either side of your vehicle.

The standard Active Driveline delivers benefits in both on and off-road situations.

In many on-road driving conditions, the system is able to disconnect drive to the rear of the vehicle. A sophisticated control strategy continuously monitors key vehicle and environmental parameters. If the requirements for four-wheel drive are met, the system seamlessly and imperceptibly reconnects the four-wheel drive system within 300 milliseconds.

Available Parallel Park identifies suitable parking spaces and automatically steers into the space while you operate the pedals. Parking exit provides the same assistance to manoeuvre out of the space.

If a vehicle approaches at speed from behind when changing lanes, the Closing Vehicle Sensing function will alert you to the potential dangers by flashing the icon in the door mirror.

Adaptive Cruise Control**

Range Rover Evoque now features a nine-speed automatic transmission, 16.6lbs lighter than the previous six-speed model. Depending on driving style you could see improvements in both fuel economy and CO2 emissions as well as greater control in low-grip conditions or when towing through the specially-designed, ultra-low first gear.

Available Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) is a radar based cruise control system that helps maintain a pre-set gap from the vehicle in front, even if it changes speed. Discretely mounted behind the front grille, it detects and monitors the vehicle in front and sets the most appropriate speed. Queue Assist adds to ACC functionality by ensuring the vehicle comes to a halt when it reaches traffic.

Intelligent Emergency Braking uses radar to detect vehicles travelling in the same direction and is designed to reduce impact speed if it calculates that a frontal collision is unavoidable.*

With five colours and several brightness configurations to choose from, you can now select the interior lighting to suit your mood and create the perfect atmosphere.

Using five digital cameras mounted around the vehicle, this optional system provides an all-round view of your surroundings on the full-colour Touch-screen, assisting in tight manoeuvring. When towing, it provides additional information to aid with reversing.

The 380W 11 speakers Meridian™ Audio System delivers superb acoustics and is noted for its excellent reproduction quality from all sources – radio, CD, iPod® or USB. The optional Meridian™ Surround Sound System features 825W 17 speakers including a subwoofer for full surround sound.

Heated rear seats are available on Range Rover Evoque. Available with both the bench seat (outer seats heated) and the twin rear seats on Coupe, the system has three heating levels that can be set via switches on the rear of the centre console.

A sliding armrest improves comfort in the front of the vehicle and is now specified on all models. Beautifully finished and made from high quality materials to match the individual interior theme, the armrest slides forward 5.9 inches/150mm while still providing access to the front cup holder.
