The alternative venue that would host this round is yet to be named, as the Blueband Sports team promised at least a fiveround championship this season. Proud to be citizens of this great diversified country with rich cultural heritage. thThe 8 edition of RFC which came to an end saw a few dry spells. In the absence of the usual monsoon rains, the slight drizzle made a few stages much easier for the followers while the stream remained high, providing some thrilling action. Monsoon is in full swing in South, but the third round of 2wheeler Racing at Chennai was successfully completed. The season opener of JK Tyre 4wheeler racing is also on cards, but the forecast suggests no sign of rain. The venue for two wheeler MRF Mogrip NRC Round 4 is being held as expected on the same date near Devanahalli on the outskirts of Bengaluru in the second weekend of August.

The event was flagged off at 10am by the Assistant Commissioner of Sakleshpur along with Circle Inspector in presence of Kadmane General Manager Mr Kariappa. Once again, Kadumane tea estate, was the venue for the 2022 version. The low profile event had over 65 entries for the oneday event. The 20km route, as usual, had too many natural obstacles and stream crossings. T he Mahindra Great Escape (MGE) returned to Sakleshpur after a gap of two years due to Covid 19 restrictions. The 2022 version of Great Escape was purely adventurous.
44 AUGUST 2022autotrack.ind.in It was a celebration time for offroaders after reclaiming the natural terrain. The Kadumane is known to be heaven for offroaders. As usual the convoy headed in groups after breakfast and passed through a couple of thickgreen vegetation, rocks and a few stream crossings, not to mention the slippery stretches within the lime grass paths. And the return, back to the start point, saw a few winching points.
