2015 Kia Forte is a compact class winner

T
he Kia Forte family comprises; the four –door sedan, twodoor Forte Koup and the Forte5 hatchback and have been popular choices in recent years, and it is not hard to see why. Nice styling, an unbelievable array of upmarket standard features not found in comparable cars in this sector, and all for an amazing price are the key attractions. Whichever model of Kia Forte you buy; sporty, semi aggressive styling is standard. The two- door Koupe has a wide, pugnacious street fighter look about it, whilst the four –door sedan and five
door hatchback look sleek and contemporary. Styling is more cohesive across the range, whilst large 17- inch alloys set off the Forte very well. The Kia Forte is available with two four-cylinder engines; a base 1.8 four cylinder and a larger 2.o liter engine. $15,995 Forte LX is powered by a 1.8-litre four-cylinder, producing 148 horsepower and 131 lb.-ft. of torque. The more powerful, direct-injected 2.0-litre engine is standard on the mid-range EX and fully loaded SX models and produces 172 horsepower
and 154 lb.-ft. of torque. Depending on the trim level, either engine can be paired with either a six speed automatic or a manual transmission. A Steptronic Autobox with steering wheel mounted paddle shifters is also an option on the SX model’s 2 liter mill. The 2014 Kia Forte comes with a very impressive list of standard features.
