The Group Project is designing a hostel locating in Venice, Italy. The main program in the hostel is about educating water pollution and water quality in Venice. The education program functions as a
bridge which connect two worlds together which are the resting area and the gathering space. Locating the solitary program and lounge on one side of the bridge where the formal balcony is provides sufficient lighting and air. On the other side of the bridge is where open kitchen locates.

world are on the third and fourth floor. The hostel is a miniature of Venice.

recurred a feeling of walking from one island to anonther. The bunk bed area is divided by wood partitions individually. The sleeping zone chose to respect local traditional material.
Through a narrow street, you will come to the main square, a trapezoidal space that looks like a scenic backdrop where buildings of different aeas harmonize perfectly. Among theses, the sixteenth-century Palazzo Zorzi houses the town hall, frescoed in the hall on the first floor by Marco de Mel with episode of the Orlando Furioso. Palazzo Zorzi Bon, No.4907 this Gothis Palace which bears the arms of the Zorzi in several places, belonged to a branch of the same family as the one next to it. In the nighteenth-century it was let to the Bon.

Crowds of people disappeared in Callesella Maruzzi, I am back to where I can touch both sides of the wall, it feels a little damp. The tall wall on the East side blocked the sun. And the moss and greens grew on the other side of the wall left the moisture on the stone wall. I turned left all the sudden into a narrowest walk, uneven brick wall on both sides almost scratches my elbow. The texture of the wall merged to concrete at one point. I can see the end of this road, where the light poured in, there is a brick bridge. I reached the Campiello de la Fraterna Bridge. I can see the Chiesa San Giorgio dei Greci church’s campanile from the bridge. After I cross the bridge, I have a better view of the landscape along the Rio de S. Lorenzo canal with sufficient sunlight. Crowds of people are able to walk in the row and enjoy the view and the weather, it is different from squeezing in the road that is between two buildings. I reached another bridge where most tourists gather. This one is connecting buildings locating in both directions, it is a crossover bridge. End of the bridge, there is a narrow walk next to the canal, named Fondamenta de l’Osmarin, in the end of the road I engaged another bridge...

This project combines two programs and merges two typse of user experiences in one space, Housing Work thrift store and health center. The retail design for the community involves researches about the system within Housing Works. Approximately two thirds of the program is dedicated to the retail program (thrift store), and the remainder to a program is a Health Care Center. Thrifting is a way of urban living; it is a shopping for surprise and luck; it is a fantasy to encounter inexpensive treasures. In the consuming society, products can be another way of cure.
The stair acts as a focal point that directs people to see the surrounding racking systems.

Google launched a project in 2016 called 20 Years of Google Search which documents the most searched actors, authors, musicians, like Nicki Minaj etc. Nicki Minaj, in this context, becomes a symbol of the power of google search to corral public interest and queries through cultural icons. Here Nicki Minaj is not just the person, the artist, but also all of the data that reflects her image and supports the sale of products she sponsors and consumes. This VR experience is an example of Nicki Minaj as data body . (The data body is defined as a virtual body which is composed of the files connected to an individual). Likewise, she is a constellation of data that configures, or gravitates around her image.

Google Cultural Institution’s interface is easy to comprehend visually with a few captions, in other words it encourages users to engage. The cursor indicates to Google where the viewers’ eyes are looking, simultaneously Google surveils the viewers’ behaviors and collects the traces in the interior which is the individual searching history through clicking. Behind every clickable link, image, and bauble, data is collected, and more clickable links are generated, leading you further inside Google’s wonderworld; every click is under GCI’s monitoring.
CONCEPT COLLAGE
The spatial strategy is an abstract process of clicking and slow down the cursor movement unfold the interior of Google. It is becoming a central space--a surveillance center which is like a panopticon. The viewers are being surveillanced constantly. Slowing the clicking process ELEVATION along with adding information within the slowness increases the transparency of the interval in between.

The project begins with a thorough research and analysis of a conventional building material, and questions the very definition of a boundary. Material properties and its potential to aggregate in an unconventional way, are tested as they relate to the relationship between interior and exterior. This project is about exploring contemporary dining typologies, through precedents and in the design of a fast food restaurant within an international airport setting.

2018 FALL PRATT STUDIO
The group project is built in full size using cardboard structure to test real occupancy. A space is defined for a single person to “perform” a ritual within. The design is informed by a thorough investigation rooted in human movement, occupancy, consumption, and site specificity. Everyday small spaces and contemporary archetypal spaces of worship are studied, documented and discussed as precedents.

FINAL MODEL DRAWING
This construct provides privacy as it blocks the inhabitant from the public space surrounding it, while accommodating up to three people The cardboard tests served as a basis for our full scale model as we picked apart which would work best for our ritual. The idea of interlocking stood out, and came together to form iterations of curved surfaces that would hold meditators, artists, memories, and supplies.

The three-dimensional pyramid-shaped pouches allows users to leave memories behind in. As well, scattered throughout the vertical partition are interlocking surfaces that provide a home for sketching supplies that mimics the rigid, yet swirling wall that shelters the visitors. With the lowest elevated surface nearly attached to the wall, you are led to follow the ascending curve to the entrance alongside the display case, allowing you to admire student work simultaneously.Â
