The Avalon Jet Setters Are Up and Running!
On March 11th a returning group of 27 Jet Stters gathered at the South Village Clubhouse. We shared in totally Covid19 protected snacks. It was truly great to see everyone healthy and moving about again.
We discussed reinstating the $2 per person donation collected at the monthly meeting and decided it was a good idea and will rebuild our treasury for parties throughout the year and our annual Holiday Season Party.
We set the monthly meeting at the second Wednesday of each month, including the summer months. We also decided to abandon the “monthly meeting to set a calendar” until we find it necessary.
Anything you want on the calendar? bring it as a suggestion to the next meeting on Wednesday April 14th at 1pm at the South Village Clubhouse.
We have our first outing on Saturday, April 3rd at the Lakeridge Winery for music and Wine (weather permitting). We also remind you of Absolutely Avalon and Kite Day on April 10th. We have a planned excursion to Cocoa Village departing at noon from Publix parking lot on April 16th. Pesaro’s for Pizza on April 22nn at 1pm. And on April 26th at 1pm we’ll make a grand appearance at Goodfella’s on East Colonial.
What a comeback we’ve got planned! Please stay safe and healthy. Please get vaccinated. And remember our meetings and gatherings are still under Covid19 protocol.
