Happy New Year to everyone! 2021 was a difficult and challenging year, but with a new year ahead of us, I am hopeful that 2022 will be a positive year of growth and renewal.

I would like to invite everyone to my Three Kings’ Day Celebration. This event will be held on Saturday, January 8th at 11am at the South Econ Recreation Center (3850 S Econlockhatchee Trail). This event will be a toy giveaway that will also feature various public and private community organizations. Food and drinks will also be provided as well as live music. This is a great opportunity for families and kids in our District to have the memorable opportunity to experience first hand this beautiful tradition. This is a family friendly event where kids will not only receive a present, but meet the Three Kings and enjoy a fun outdoor environment.

I would like to remind everyone that the COVID testing/vaccination site at Barnett Park (4801 W Colonial Dr) is still open seven days a week from 9am to 4pm. In addition, there are two more testing sites open in Orange County. The first is the Econ Soccer complex at 8035 Yates Road, Orlando FL 32807. The other is at South Orange Youth Sports at 11800 South Orange Avenue, Orlando FL 32824. Both of these sites are open seven days a week from 9am to 5pm.
