Drone Summer Camp is back at Avalon Park at Avalon Mail Center

Drone Summer Camp is back at Avalon Park at Avalon Mail Center, conducted by instructors of Drone Mission for ages 11 to adults. Good old fashion airplane radio control modeling or quadcopters tailored for each student.

This program is specifically designed for both the novice and experienced drone enthusiasts. This camp is filled with pure action as students enjoy one of the world’s fastest growing Racing Sports, Drone Photography or be licensed with Part 107 as a commercial drone pilot.

New campers will first learn about the basic safety of drone flying. From there, campers will progress through various skill challenges and learn how to perform various exercises and maneuvers to become familiar with the drone’s speed and agility.

Campers will use iPads, phones and remote controls to navigate the drone through short and long obstacle courses. For those who are serious about making this a career, Part 107 Class, covers everything you need to know to pass the Part 107 exam to be licensed and become a commercial drone pilot.
