Vaccinations are important now that our kids are back in school. We moved the Barnett Park vaccination site to Camping World Stadium. This site is a partnership with the Florida Department of Health in Orange County and Orange County Government’s Health Services Department and they are providing free, convenient drive-thru vaccinations. There are also appointments available for those unable to leave their home. For all of this information, visit https://www. orangecountyfl.net/.

Orange County’s Emergency Rental Assistance Program continues to accept applications from residents who are behind in rent due to COVID-19. It is important to note that the City of Orlando has its own assistance program for its residents. Residents who have questions or require assistance with the application may visit a participating library, from Tuesdays through Fridays, to speak in-person with program representative.

National Hispanic Heritage Month starts September 15 and goes until October 15. It is a time in the United States where we recognize the contributions of Hispanic Americans to the history of the United States. I am proud to represent such a wide variety of Hispanic cultures and countries that contribute to our District and Region. Stay tuned for the events happening thought out the county!
