School is Back in Session!

The summer is coming to an end and a new school year has arrived. The first day of school for students is Tuesday, August 10th in Pasco County, and parents, students, and teachers alike have begun their preparations for the new school year. In this edition of the Avalon Park Sun, we are sharing key resources to make sure you and your students are ready for the new school term, as well as opportunities to contribute to those in our community who need a little help.

‘Two Good Soles’ Shoes and Socks Drive

The sixth annual Two Good Soles Shoes and Socks Drive is underway with Pasco County Government and Constitutional offices working together to collect footwear for kids in Pasco County Schools through October 22, 2021.

You can drop off donations in collection boxes at Pasco County Government locations and the Pasco County Clerk & Comptroller, Property Appraiser and Tax Collector offices countywide. Learn more.

Back to School Bash

Avalon Park is excited to partner with UrEsteem once again for their annual Back to School Bash providing students with resources to attend school. Join us on Saturday, August 7th from 10 AM – 12 PM at Life Church for one of the biggest events servicing the community in Wesley Chapel.
