Patriotic Pup

Local businesses partner to host for K9 Partners For Patriots through the months of July and August. Robyn Lindsey, owner of BluEgg Photography, BluEggPhotography.com, is hosting a photography contest for the most Patriotic Pup in the Greater Tampa Bay Area. Proceeds will benefit K9 Partners for Patriots, a nonprofit that empowers military veterans to create a connection and train their own service dogs.

To see which pup is our nation’s biggest fan, BluEgg Photography has hosted several dates throughout the month of July in Wesley Chapel and Southern Brooksville. August 7th will be the last day to participate. The photographer has also partnered with numerous other local businesses in the area to sponsor the event; Rock & Brews, Munchies Natural Pet Foods, Jackie’s Grooming & Boarding, Animal Medical Clinic in Spring Hill, Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming of Wesley Chapel, Rookies Sports Bar & Grill, Platinum Pet Sitting Service, and Doggie Stylerz by Tim & Brad. With the help of our community, Robyn has a goal to raise over $5000, just half of what it cost to put one dog and veteran partner through a full 24-week training program.

Robyn Lindsey, the owner at BluEgg Photography works with each dog to create an artistic portrait to truly capture their personality. Robyn is known for her creativity, and these limited edition portraits will result in images of area dogs that are not only great for summer celebrations, but a timeless memory during a trying time.

“Most of us capture photos on our phones of our pets and rarely have them captured by a professional photographer. I would love to see these animals that are part of our family to be captured and celebrate with beautiful artwork on my clients’ walls at home or their office. Who wouldn’t want to look up and see that adorable face every day on your wall to help you smile when you’re having a bad day? We need portraits like these more than ever to remind us of the love we share in our lives” said Robyn Lindsey.

The last photographing day for the “Patriotic Pup Contest” is happening at K9 Partners for Patriots’ facility on August 7th. Only a few sessions are left available, by appointment only. Please call 727-560- 7458 to inquire about availability.

More about K9 Partners For Patriots: K9 Partners for Patriots is a 501c3 nonprofit organization located in Brooksville, Florida on a mission to eliminate veteran suicide. K9 Partners for Patriots provides opportunities for vets to meet each other, share their stories, and process their pain while they train their own service dog in their 24-week course. They find trust and understanding in the organization’s non-judgmental family environment.

As a nonprofit organization, K9 Partners for Patriots relies solely on grants and donations to fund their 11,000 square foot gymnasiumsized, climate controlled facility, training for more than 50 veteran and dog teams a year, and support programs during and after the completion of the program.

More about Owner Robyn Lindsey: As a young adult, I started to notice that I couldn’t remember the same family stories as my older sister. I would look at photographs and wonder why I could not remember more than what was in that captured moment, even though I took the photo. Come to find out, I had undiagnosed epilepsy, which was erasing these precious memories from my mind. Although treatment helps, I still heavily rely on those captured moments displayed on my walls and in family albums to remind me of the love and support I have in my life.

My Goal as a photographer became clear after I had my own child; to ensure that every home has heartwarming artwork to remind all my clients just how blessed we are to have love in our lives. Just 4 weeks after having my daughter, my father, a Vietnam Era Army Veteran surviving with PTSD, passed. No family portraits were able to be captured due to his health before passing. I re-established my business in 2019 to help families decorate their worlds with high quality, personal artwork. Artwork to capture those fleeting moments that we may never get the opportunity to capture again. Artwork that matters.
