Stay Key-nected

Hey Division 1N Key Clubbers! School is finally back in session and its time to get back in the swing of things. As you’re making your plan for the rest of the year, remember that service is the most important part of Key Club. I hope all of you are planning on attending the wonderful events that are coming up. Right around the corner is the Divisional Project and PCM. This is the first one of the year so it’ll be a great chance to meet Key Clubbers from other schools in our division. It is also important that officers attend the PCM since it is an update on what’s going on and it’ll clear up any questions you have. Next, on October 3rd, is the day you’ve all been waiting for: Fall Rally! I hope you’re pumped for it. Hundreds of Key Clubbers will gather at Six Flags and after the actual event is over, you’re free to enjoy all of the rollercoasters! Finally is the Division 1 Social, between 1N and 1S. There’s nothing better than pizza, games, and Key Clubbers. I hope to see you at all of these events!

You have all done a great job serving your homes, schools, and communities. Keep up your hard work and dedication. If you ever have any questions or need help, I’m here at all times. Yours in service,

Spotlight of the Month

On Saturday, August 15th, five Key Clubbers from Trimble Tech HS participated in a back-to-school shopping event hosted by their Kiwanis club. Every year, 40 students on two different weekends from two different schools meet up for a couple hours of fun. Fourteen kids from Diamond Hill Elementary gathered at Sears, ready to shop for new clothes. For two hours, the Key Clubbers helped students shop for back-to-school necessities. The kids were beaming from ear to ear as they raced across the store to get what they needed. When it was time to board the bus and go back home, they proudly carried their bags and showed off their haul to other kids.
