This unique menswear boutique i s a f av o u r i t e a m o n g s t fashionable well-travelled men, and brings a little bit of New York to Brisbane. Hidden away on Charlotte Street, we ventured up the stairs to find out more about these cool Brisbane lads… Why did you choose a location that’s off the beaten track? We like the challenge of enticing people to travel out of the way for a unique find. The shop was located on Elizabeth Street before we were flooded in January 2011, so we had to find a new space. When we found this spot it felt like the right fit and has actually worked out better. We love that we have a courtyard and we’ve even hosted a few New York style parties. What are your influences? The store really only came about because I (Nick) lived in New York for six months. I fell in love with the culture and street lifestyle of the city. I got back and really missed it. I couldn’t move back, so we just created a little bit of New York right here. From sneakers, hip hop and the loft style of the store, we are trying to bring the NY lifestyle to Brisbane folks.
