It is the most wonderful time of the year. Tax filing day is just around the corner. It is better than Black Friday! It is Green First Quarter. Your CPAs are busy scurrying around filing returns and helping their clients minimize their tax bills. There is a spring in our step and a song in our heart. We don’t like taxes anymore than you do, but we like helping you calculate the lowest amount of taxes required by law. You should only pay the least amount of tax required by law taking into consideration every allowable tax deduction and credit available. Utilizing tax deductions and credits that exist in the law is not tax avoidance but rather the proper application of the tax laws to your personal tax situation. File early and File often! “The hardest thing in the world to understand is the income tax.” Albert Einstein

The Apple Valley Chamber Gala is only a month away, Have your purchased your tickets yet? If you thought last year was fun, then wait until you get to Enjoy on May 9th for the event of the year in Apple Valley. Enjoy has agreed to close for the evening to make this year’s Gala a truly special encounter. The theme centers around the Roaring Twenties, Prohibition and The Great Gatsby. Costumes from that era will be on display by the attendees and special beverages circa 1920 will be the toast of the evening. A few tables are still available and a barstool can be purchased to get you up close to the action. This month’s newsletter has all the information you need to get your tickets, order a table or a barstool. You can also donate items for the silent and live auctions. This is the Chamber’s biggest fundraiser of the year and is always the funnest night around. I look forward to seeing everyone decked out for the great evening.
