Welcome from Bill Green, Recreation Director As I begin my 37th year as Recreation Director for the Town of East Fishkill, I’d like to invite all residents to take advantage of our many facilities, programs and activities offered year-round. I hope this guide will assist you in planning activities and events for the coming year. In East Fishkill, we offer a variety of programs for all ages: • At Red Wing Park, you can swim, fish and picnic. Friday nights at the Rec are free concerts. • Our sports, offered throughout the year at town parks, include: baseball, softfall, basketball, soccer, football, lacrosse, tennis, yoga, golf, roller hockey, volleyball, skateboarding, Frisbee, zumba, field hockey and handball. If you like jogging, biking or walking, use our trails at the Hopewell Rec and at the Lime Kiln facility, where we also have new fitness equipment. • Seniors can join our popular program, which meets Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays at the Community Center. There are also monthly senior trips. • Youngsters may attend our 7-week summer camp. Our bus trips have a variety of destinations. We in recreation look foward to seeing you throughout the year. Please keep this guide handy and support the local businesses that advertise here. ~Bill Green East Fishkill Recreation Director
