In this scarf collection, the fashion designer Avgousta Theodoulou uses the emblem of her self-named brand as the single building element for creating evocative motifs and elaborate designs. Her emblem comprises her greek initials A and Θ in a winged arrangement, as it is inspired by the the ancient greek myth of Daedalus and Icarus and was born from her first awarded cloth collection. As a pattern, it becomes reminiscent of the otherworldly macrame work that is the designer’s hallmark.
The series of scarves starts with a small number of designs and will be continued. Each new design of the series added over time, will continue the same concept. With this approach, the designer bridges her creations through time and gives them a timeless and collectible value.
The silk scarves are being designed in Paris and realized in Soufli, Greece, a place renowned for its long tradition in silk production and processing. As with all Avgousta Theodoulou creations, the scarves are produced with the greatest respect for people whose hands create them, and the responsibility to minimize their fingerprint to the environment that we are all a part.
A scarf gives the final touch to a look. It can be worn around the neck, on the hair, the hand, or adorn a bag.

Avgousta Theodoulou is a Cypriot designer born and raised in Cyprus. She has studied Computer Science (BSc & MSc) in Greece, where she worked for some years as a tutor. In 2013 she made a turn in her life and moved to Paris to pursue her fashion dream, and in 2016 got her degree in Fashion Design and Technology from IFA Paris. Her graduation collection was selected to appear in catwalks around the world, Paris, Washington D.C., China, and Greece. In 2017 she won the Best New Designer Award in Athens Xclusive New Designers Awards. Avgousta chooses mainly natural and organic fabrics. She is fond of transforming the fabrics she uses through a composition of various handmaking techniques (macrame, crochet, and others). She creates high-quality clothes and accessories with the greatest respect for people and the environment. The products of her brand are produced in France and Greece, trying to combine the advantages of the two countries regarding quality and know-how. Since 2017, Avgousta has been running her self-labeled fashion brand based in Paris where she also lives. The designer does not follow the rules of fast fashion, contrary she stands with the principles of slow fashion and chooses to showcase her work when she has something new to say.
