What did we hear from the 2024 speakers?
• Supply chain and future workforce shortages continue to dominate conversations onsite.
• With the high cost of materials, there are expectations of more repair development and more capacity in the parts repair segment is needed.
• With larger shops focused on bigger and more profitable workscopes, there could be opportunities for smaller third-party shops to specialize and generate new business.
• Balanced and diversified MRO portfolios in the engine segment are important for different revenue opportunities.

• AI could be helpful for inventory management and enabling an increase in predictiveness, whilst also supplementing and boosting the existing workforce.
• Supply chain issues are increasing competition for USM but long turnaround times on repairs, cost hikes on parts and aircraft delivery delays could cause operators to reconsider its usage.
• PMA and DER are being considered to help market players reduce costs and keep up with demand.
• Aircraft delivery delays may cause operators to withhold the release of aircraft into the teardown market until delivery rates are more consistent, causing prices to stay high.
