Dear Colleague,

Welcome to the 2022 A&D Programs Conference, the 20th year Aviation Week Network has planned an event dedicated to the strategy and requirements for aerospace, defense and space businesses and programs.

For the next 1.5 days, we’ll provide two tracks of information—where we are going as an industry and, second, what is needed to meet the challenges ahead. Along the way, you will meet the best-of-the-best as we hear about global defense and NASA budgets, programs ranging from hypersonics to establishing a lunar base, from digital transformation to dealing with the current supply chain issues. You’ll also hear from several of the finalists for this year’s Program Excellence Awards as they share their best practices. We’ll wind up the conference with the annual Program Excellence Awards Banquet.

We are honored to have a terrific line up of speakers for you again. This includes an opening address from U.S. Air Force Secretary Frank Kendall and a keynote from Matt Bromberg, Chief Operating Officer at Northrop Grumman. And we’ll continue a conference tradition: an onstage conversation between four leading analysts on the opportunities and challenges the industry faces in the coming two years.

None of this would be possible without the commitment and suppor t of our sponsors: Siemens Digital Industries Software, Capital One, Elbit Systems of America, Interos, KPMG, Salesforce and CIT.

We learned as we began A&D Programs in 2002 that the primary benefit to our attendees is the opportunity to hear, to share and to learn. I hope you’ll benefit from all three again this year.

It’s great to welcome you to Washington, D.C. Thank you for joining us!

Interos Inc

Last year’s disruptions opened everyone’s eyes to potential risks and threats to their supply chain and business relationships: COVID, SolarWinds, China tech and trade wars, regulatory compliance, ESG-based ethics in resourcing and labor, and more.

In addition to operational pressures from these converging hazards, business leaders told us their frustrations at being stuck in a backward-looking approach to managing supply chain risk for operational resilience: having people manually comb through databases and directories for months to make snapshot spreadsheets and surveys with dated, incomplete information.

At Interos, we saw a smarter way towards a better future. Our Interos Operational Resilience Cloud maps your entire business ecosystem in seconds, using artificial intelligence to get smarter every day. This helps you precisely detect vulnerability and distress across digital and physical supply chains in time to prevent disruptions and achieve dramatically superior enterprise adaptability and responsiveness.

Plus, with an instant global view of every relationship scenario you can imagine, you and your team can focus on exciting new ways to create value and transform your company. More than just making things a little better, we’re here to change the way the world’s companies see, learn and profit from their relationships.
