ABOUT INDONESIA

ABOUT SEMARANG

Semarang lies in the northern part of Central Java. It is a bustling mid-sized city with a population of 1.5 million. The city's weather is hot and humid, so wear cotton clothes. Semarang is the hosts of some universities


POINT OF INTERESTS IN SEMARANG TUGU MUDA is a symbol of the city. It is a stone monument in Semarang, Java commemorating the struggle for independence by Indonesian youth.

LAWANG SEWU Taken from Javanese Language, Lawang Sewu means “A Thousand Doors” refers to its many doors. Lawang Sewu located in the center of the city.

KOTA LAMA Kota Lama or “Old Town,” is a heritage from Dutch Colonial that stands for more than a hundred years.

Indonesia is a tropical country which has 2 seasons : dry and rain. As mentioned above, Semarang’s weather is hot and humid. The temperature goes around 27 °C – 33 °C everyday.
