Transitioning out of vulnerability towards Resilience AVSI Foundation through the USAID funded activity; “Sustainable Comprehensive Responses for Vulnerable Children and their Families” (SCORE) has premiered a unique graduation model that has resulted in 10,164 households (66% of active households) graduating our of venerability with 3 in 4 (74%) households remaining resilient two years post graduation. The model branded Furaha for happiness in Swahili ends with previously critically vulnerable households exiting from activity support with lower vulnerability and with great joy and happiness

On the 15th March, AVSI Foundation shared results of the Furaha graduation model with 190 participants from various fora including the USAID mission, Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development, Local Governments, Academia, other development partners, civil society and activity participants/ beneficiaries.
