There’s so much to do in and around Mersea Island, whether you stay put and enjoy our fantastic holiday park or explore all that Essex has to offer!

Blackwater fun A wonderful location, with lots of wide open spaces, fresh sea air and a brilliant array of wildlife, Mersea Island Holiday Park is set in a picture perfect coastal location that feels peaceful and relaxing, yet just up the road you have all that the historical town of Colchester has to offer, as well as nearby seaside and beach locations, making it perfect for everyone, no matter what you want from a holiday you can find it here.

The countryside and Estuary make for the perfect back drop to enjoy long walks, picnics, fun with the kids, dog walking, or for those that want to just sit back, you can take in the abundance of the wetland bird life. Making a splash We have some great facilities at our holiday park, including a lovely indoor pool that’s perfect for the whole family to enjoy and includes an outside sun terrace which is perfect for the blistering Essex heat! Well, we may not be able to guarantee the blistering heat, but we can hope! You can also make the most of our own private beach and build sandcastles in the sunshine or splash in the sea!

There’s a children’s adventure playgroup that will keep our younger guests entertained.

We have a well stocked on-site shop that will have all your holiday essentials and a cosy bar that will keep you refreshed as you sit, relax and enjoy the epic coastal views.
