The Foundation of Noble For more than a decade, Noble has delivered an outstanding public education to low-income high school students in Chicago. Noble’s founders – Michael and Tonya Milkie – were former Chicago public high school teachers who believed their students could reach higher levels of academic achievement and discipline, and they committed themselves to creating a better kind of school. Noble is founded on a model with many of the principles that have been successful in private enterprise:
