SIOUX CITY URBAN SCRAMBLE

How well do you know your city? This adventure race throughout the Sioux City metro challenges your navigation, endurance, and other skills. Teams of two will run and bike their way to various check points throughout the city; and complete challenges along the way. The race begins and ends at the Seaboard Triumph Foods Expo Center with the After Party to follow!

SIOUX CITY MUNICIPAL BAND SUMMER CONCERTS

Start your new week with a rousing Sioux City Municipal Band concert. Enjoy the open-air concerts each Sunday evening beginning at 7:30 p.m. from June 4 July 23, 2023 at the beautiful Grandview Bandshell. Sit on the built-in benches or bring lawn chairs or blankets to enjoy from the shady grass areas.

DOWNTOWN LIVE

On the lawn of the Sioux City Public Museum at 4th and Nebraska Streets: Friday nights 7pm-9pm. It’s time to grab your friends, lawn chairs, and come listen to first class LIVE entertainment. Groove out with a different band every week. The party starts right after work, so get there quick...you won’t want to miss a beat!

BEER YOGA

Yoga and an ice cold beer on hot summer evenings. Classes are on Wednesday evenings for one hour. Enjoy a beverage during the class.

YOGA IN THE PARK

Thanks to the partnership between Sioux City Parks & Recreation and Evolve Yoga, free yoga classes will be offered on Saturday mornings this summer. No class on July 1 or July 22, 2023.

Join the Yoga classes each Saturday at 9am at the Yoga Lawn on the Riverfront. Each class is approximately one hour and is open to the public. Classes will be structured for everyone from first-timers to the regular yoga practitioner. Participants should bring their own yoga mat and a bottle of water.

No registration required to attend this class. Watch Sioux City Parks and Rec Facebook for information or weather issues.

Sioux City Parks & Recreation presents Movies in the Park. Come watch your favorite family movies under the stars at the Grandview Bandshell, Saturdays starting June 10. Movies will start at 9pm.
