PREFACE: First off, I wish to thank the many pastors, ministers, and various congregants, all of whom have been asking me to address this serious concern that is festering worldwide within Christian Houses of Worship. Per their request, this investigative article is dedicated, and also to the various religious scholars and antiquity experts whose data and guidance were indispensable. DATELINE: AMERICA & THE WORLD. a shocked ‘live’ nationwide television audience: “Televangelist, Jesse Duplantis, says that God told him he needed a (fourth) private luxury plane and he’s asking his followers to once-again foot the bill for the $54-million price tag!”

Pastor Duplantis explained to a stunned, disbelieving, viewing audience numbering in the millions across America and on multiple subsequent television broadcasts (including his own personal website): “You know, I’ve owned three luxury jets in my life and I’ve used them, and just burnin’ ‘em up, for the Lord Jesus Christ.” (This

The broadcast would spill over to various other live primetime newscasts and would result in a giant tsunami-wave of criticism and embarrassment from both religious and secular factions, here and eventually from around the globe. For many concerned observers, this is not a singular incident, but a fastemerging and accelerating number of

what many secular and religious critics now call “prosperity pastors.”
