CASE STUDY
We have been tasked with a variety of different electrical and refurbishment works for Waitrose and John Lewis. Most notably, we worked with Waitrose to develop their ‘Unpacked’ pilot scheme within their Botley Road store.
The scheme provides an alternative way of shopping that uses less packaging by encouraging customers to bring their own containers so that they can weigh and fill them with their groceries. The packaging-free concept saw us provide electrical supplies to their new equipment including beer pumps, refrigeration units, detergent dispensers, and scale points. We also completed the refurbishment and redecoration of the store itself. After the success of the trial, the scheme was rolled out into other stores.
