Our works at Summer Court Boiler House for Sanctuary: design and installation of a commercial boiler house serving 200 dwellings - for around 300 residents - with Worcester Bosch hydrogen-ready boilers.

The Axis/CLC Complete Compliance solution is a fully integrated end-to-end asset management service, which keeps buildings and people safe. We offer an advisory service to keep building owners and landlords up to date on the latest compliance regulations.

Adhering to legal requirements

Adhering to regulatory standards helps to prevent accidents, such as electrical, fires, gas leaks, or water contamination, which could have serious consequences for residents, property owners, landlords and the environment.

In the UK construction industry, several laws and regulations govern compliance, with a strong focus on building safety, site safety, and worker protection.

Key laws include:

• Building Safety Act 2022 which focuses on high-rise safety

• Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 which mandates safety for workers

• Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM) which ensures safety throughout the project lifecycle

Compliance guarantees safety, efficiency, and quality across construction, including M&E services, ensuring systems meet regulations like fire safety and energy efficiency.

Plus:

• Net Zero targets - The UK Government’s Net Zero targets are becoming legal compliance requirements for landlords, especially in the context of social housing

• By 2030, social housing must meet EPC ratings of at least C. Landlords must invest in energy-efficient technologies including M&E installations like solar panels and Air Source Heat Pumps

With over 72,000 rooms across 800 hotels, Premier Inn is one of the UK’s largest hotel brands. Since 2012, CLC has been working with them to refurbish and redecorate 2,219 hotel suites and communal areas across their UK sites.

This photo shows Premier Inn London Bank which has 184 bedrooms which we refurbished at a rate of 25 rooms per three-week period.

We re-wired 14 flats over three apartment blocks in Durham for Student Cribs, a leading provider of quality and affordable university accommodation.

The project took place during the summer while the building was vacant to avoid disruption.

We replaced an outdated ASHP system which lacked advanced controls and operated inefficiently, often creating excessive noise, with a modern and efficient system for Eastlight Community Homes residents.

Electric Vehicle Charging Point Installation

Our EV charging point installation project featured high level containment, new external LV distribution system to 5 x Eve Double Pro Line 22Kw charge points, 1 x Double outlet 22Kw charge point, back-office maintenance and support and signage.

The installation process adhered to EV safety regulations, involved coordination with local utilities for seamless execution, and helps our clients achieve their Net Zero targets.
