N Ayaka Nishi New York is a jewelry brand inspired by the beauty and mystery of the natural world.

Designer Ayaka Nishi’s mission is to create handcrafted works of unparalleled beauty and exquisite craftsmanship. Her creations spring from a singular and sophisticated imagination, and inhabit the intersection of fine art and jewelry. Ms. Nishi’s designs are unique as they exist simultaneously on two levels: they compliment the wearer’s wardrobe, while at the same time they stand alone as singular works of art. Ayaka Nishi was born and raised in Kagoshima, Japan, a medium‐sized metropolis in a mostly rural prefecture on Kyushuu Island. She was influenced not only by the sophistication of city life, but also by the bucolic countryside and pristine wilderness beyond. While her one‐of‐a‐kind style is very much a product of the environments she inhabited, she has also received extensive formal training in the design and manufacture of jewelry. In 2006, Ms. Nishi relocated to New York City to attend the world‐renowned Fashion Institute of Technology (F.I.T.). After graduating, she interned at 2008 CFDA award winner Philip Crangi, and later secured a position at CFDA 2009 winner, Subversive Jewelry. In recent years, Ayaka Nishi’s work has been featured in galleries, exhibitions, and boutiques in New York, Japan, and Korea, as well as a critically acclaimed jewelry fashion show at the Empire Hotel in New York City. Her works have also been featured in numerous national and international digital and print publications, including Vogue UK, Vogue Italia, Elle, and more.
