Major Infrastructure Experience

Environmental consultancy experience across large development, infrastructure and waste environmental projects in Ireland, the UK and the Middle East, including the Al Khobar Coastal Masterplan (KSA), the Arklow Flood Relief Scheme (Ireland), the Al Khalifa Sewage Treatment Plant (Bahrain) and a renewable energy plant at Cheddleton in the UK.

Major Projects Partner

Ayesa has secured a major water project in Saudi Arabia through a framework agreement with the National Water Company (NWC) to design over 100 advanced sanitation and drinking water projects. These projects, forming part of a broader national investment in sustainable water infrastructure, aim to improve water accessibility and resilience across four key regions of Saudi Arabia. Under this framework, Ayesa provides consulting, engineering design, and Environmental Impact Assessments, integrating ecofriendly technologies to support longterm sustainability and efficient resource management.

Ayesa offers extensive expertise in conducting specialist ecological and biodiversity surveys across the Middle East, the UK, and Ireland. Our team is highly experienced in delivering comprehensive ecological surveys, monitoring, and reporting for a wide range of terrestrial and marine projects. We provide detailed baseline ecological information through both desk-based research and field studies, identify opportunities and constraints, and provide a practical approach to the application of government legislation and environmental policy.

We collaborate closely with developers and regulatory authorities to deliver cost-effective solutions for environmental compensation and enhancement. This includes a variety of initiatives, from educational programs aimed at raising environmental awareness to habitat enhancement schemes designed to restore and protect damaged ecosystems.

Our team is equipped with certified divers (at least PADI Rescue Diver or equivalent) with upto-date diving safety and rescue qualifications including First Aid Response and Emergency Oxygen Provider, enabling us to conduct safe and effective underwater surveys. We have successfully completed numerous marine ecological surveys using SCUBA-based techniques in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Environmental Modelling

At Ayesa, we specialize in delivering comprehensive modelling services across a broad spectrum of environmental parameters for various applications, including environmental and social impact assessments, due diligence evaluations, and site selection planning, and design compliance. Using state-of-the-art modelling techniques, we provide our clients with accurate and reliable data to inform decision-making and ensure regulatory compliance.

Ayesa’s inhouse team of experts develop 2D and 3D coastal models simulate tidal currents, wave actions, and other hydrodynamic processes. The hydrodynamic models form the basis of various other models (dispersion modelling, and flushing modelling) essential for the permitting process and to design effective mitigation measures.

Ayesa supports our client’s compliance with air quality and noise regulations by using predictive air emission and noise modelling. These models assist in the assessment of the impacts on surrounding communities and ecosystems and inform the development of mitigation plans.
