PLAY FORMATIVE MEMORY The key concept is play formative memory: creating spaces that simulate innovation through the arrangement of geometric forms. The form of the building itself resembles jenga blocks stacked on top of each other. The use of varying angles of tapered, pitched roofs create a visual disorder and geometry.

PRE-KG CLASSROOM

The dividing wall of the classroom acts as a spatial divider and provides a vantage point for the teachers to supervise the students.

The classrooms are oriented to provide maximum lighting while avoiding heat gain. Since classes for this age group do not go past 12:00 pm, windows have been provided in the south. The steps act as a reading and playing space for the students. It is carpeted for mitigating impact sounds and comfort. The louvers on the east create an interesting play of light and shadow while providing a barricade from children climbing over the low sliding windows.

The office is connected to the Principals office and the waiting area.

The utility room is shielded from the outside using jali.

The jali minimises the harsh sunlight from the south as the office is used till the evening. Additionaly, the louvers and jali provide privacy.
