Kashmiri thread work and mirror-work charmingly represent the scenic land they hail from. Following an age-old craft that symbolizes tradition are these hand embroidered pieces made with love and the will to persevere.

Love Indigenous is the brainchild of Aneeta Nagi Bukhari. Educated in Political Science and Economics at Manhattanville College, NY, she has always been exposed to different creative environments since childhood. A former reporter for Newsweek Pakistan, an avid Sitar player under the tutelage of Ustad Saleem Khan Poonchwala and a student of photography at the Indus Valley School of Arts and Architecture, Karachi, she is deeply driven towards exploring creativity as a means of self-expression. Love Indigenous is a reflection of this eclectic mix, which values imagination, free-spiritedness and encourages social responsibility.
