The design exercise uses the ceiling fan as an example of a typical domestic object and intends to abstract it towards the development of a spacial element. The fan was abstracted and converted into modules that when interconnected become a partition. At the same time each module serve as a lighting component brightening the space around it. The project focuses on the fabrication of a prototype that will become an intervention on a contemporary domestic space. By repeating, bending, rotating, etc a built component from the domestic environment, that wasn’t intended as an architecture or furniture design in its original use, the project aims to adapt this new form to become a spatial component that when repeated vertically or horizontally achieves a double function.

REVIVE /REVITALIZE
The vision is to Re-Vitalize and Revive the Jane Picken’s Theater by linking the Past and Present Layers. The proposed new layer acts as a channel that links the original theater with the outside. This inserted layer binds the past with the present and its geometry ties together the discordant set of spaces to create a unified interior.

[ 03 ] The vision of the competition was to herald a new phase in the scientific vision of Serbia having national and international significance. This proposal takes cognizance of the existing scheme and incorporates the infrastructure and scale. The proposed Center for Promotion of Science building in Belgrade has a dynamic and unique scheme with a smart, technological and sustainable approach.
CENTER FOR PROMOTION OF SCIENCES
[ 04 ] The Renovation and Upgrade of this School Library, 131 Bronx, New York, involved addition of new Ipad Charing Stations, a new concept for the Ceiling and Lighting and additional reading, lounging and media room facilities. The idea was to create flexible and flowing spaces, which would incorporate new technology-friendly workstations and screens. The soft furniture reflects the fluidity and flexibility of the program, which in turn is co-ordintaed with the fluid ceiling design. I have worked on Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction and Bid Documents, under the supervision of the Project Architect. This Project is currently under construction.

DIAMOND TOWER
The Diamond Tower is the central iconic office tower building which is part of the Gujarat International Finance-Tech City Project in Gandhinagar District, India. Working in collaboration with a team of architects and consultants, I developed 3D models for structural systems alternatives for the Diamond Tower. I worked on Schematic Drawings in co-ordination with consultants to resolve the central service core. I was also responsible for Schematic Drawings, Client Presentations and Interior Layouts for offices on each floor. I was responsible for FF&E Layouts for the Revolving Restaurant and Viewing Deck.
