What is it? •Mission: To transform communities through creating opportunities for entrepreneurs, agencies, government and corporations to participate in sustainable social impact. What are we going to do? Combine social media, guerilla marketing, and User generated content to set Neighbor Carts into motion
Demographic

Guerrilla • School take over event - Take over 10 schools in food deserts - Have health food picnic for the kids - Children will decorate shopping carts for NC

-Send children home with healthy goodie bag and information/invitation for Neighbor Carts and block party event

To make this work • Create a documentary about food deserts and how Neighbor Carts is helping to solve the problem. Add derby and block party footage to the documentary • Make it simple for others to get involved by….
Social Media • Once someone has viewed the video: - Put links to Twitter and Facebook with prewritten messages to send out to government officials (senators, governors etc). To petition for neighbors carts to spread outside of Chicago. -Have participants send same messages to Michelle Obama to get her to add Neighbor Carts to her health campaign
Social media cont.. • Have participants change their profile pictures on social media to make other curious about the project • After they view the video, as them to share it as many places as possible • Make stickers free and available to anyone who signs up for our email list to keep up with what NC is doing. -Plaster stickers anywhere and everywhere so people can see it

User-Generated content • Ask participants to create their own videos about their health food experiences (difficulties finding health food etc) -These can be shared on Twitter and Facebook instead of the pre-written tweets
