PORTFOLIO ZHANG XIAOHUI Interaction Design
Interaction design is people-oriented, valuing user's psychology.
Thus, before everything thing else, the designer needs to carry out profound investigation to understand and excavate user’s needs. Finishing a complete collection of works includes studying and understanding users’ needs, building a system of brainstorming, defining various structural procedures, and continuously clarifying the system through design. This process from abstraction to entity requires in-depth thinking, which I enjoy very much. It is exactly the reason why I am so much fascinated with interaction design. It has been almost three years since I graduated and found a job in the financial industry. However, my genuine passion just refuses to remain buried. In my mind, design is not only a matter of creation and creativity, but also an effective way to solve problems and satisfy needs. That precisely resonates with my personal aspirations. I am aware of the challenges waiting ahead on this path, but I will face up to them with all my might!

Project One Due
to high-speed rhythm of life and strong work pressure, young white-collar workers lead unhealthy lifestyles and habits, which have caused what is called “sub-health” . And “lack of water” is one of the most prominent causes of sub-health complications. Many white-collar workers believe that, to solve this problem, they need to develop healthy drinking habits and drink enough water in the office.

Project Two Studies
show that 50-75% women have experienced a "Baby Blues" along with their children's birth. Most women's symptoms are not obvious or transient. In personality, they may have an unstable mood, such as inexplicable crying or poor mood. In this case, however, it is usually considered that the young mother is not patient enough, or is classified as unskilled, withh many tragedies of postpartum depression occurring. Postpartum depression is a difficult task for mothers, which has a very high incidence of disease. But at present, obstetrics and gynecology doctors as well as parturients first concern about postpartum health, which largely ignores mental health.

Views What do you think of postpartum depression?
Postpartum depression or maternal mental state has not been adjusted well. But when the mental imbalance occurs, family members' understanding and companionship are the most important things.
Postpartum wives are more likely to be irritable. At this time, husband should understand and comfort her indeed. Only in this way can we alleviate postpartum anxiety and depression.
Most of the causes of postpartum depression are from the newcomers' lack of adjustment and anxiety. Because they have to take care of babies, they will suffer from insomnia, hair loss and so on. If the family does not pay attention to her mood, it may make the disease exposed to her.
03
This is a hard time for my wife. I should be considerate and help her as much as I can. All the puerperal energy of her is on the baby. There is less chance for the couple have a talk for caring. In pregnancy, there are some wife's colleagues also pregnant. Everyone would communicate in a timely manner so that the other half feels at ease. So she hardly felt any anxiety or depression.
Ideation Demand Derivation We focus more on the two major needs of women: the one hopes that the postpartum body can be restored and the one hopes that the husband or friends can keep accompany. The design of the scheme focuses on the combination of the above two points closely.

Project There Lots of tragedies about children deaths from
high temperature and smothering inside cars reported by domestic in recent years have caught my eyes. According to the research, such accidents were frequently seen not only domestically but globally. Taking as an example America which is with relatively complete statistics, there are tens of children falling into victims of these accidents each year with an average of one every nine days. So frequent tragic events make people painful.

User Research Questionnaire Design
Regarding children’s travelling safety, a questionnaire was carried out among families with children, which involved the basic information of family members, children’s travelling habits and children’s safety education from the family for the intention of finding out the sources causing the accidents on children from the angle of the living habits of family, guardians and children. 83 effective questionnaires were collected. When will you leave your child in the car? “Absolutely not” “When shopping in the store” “When my child is sleeping well and I can be back soon” “When buying breakfast outside the car” “I will not at any time”
What do you think causes the death of children left in the car? “Children and guardians’ awareness of the severity” “Smothering caused by anoxia”
“weak safety awareness and fluke mind”
Conclusion
1.Safety seats are essential when children aged 1-5 take cars. 2.Part guardians have been aware of the danger of leaving children alone in the car, but they fail to learn about the seriousness clearly. 3.Most guardians are weak in safety consciousness.

Project Four The first step of DIY travel is to plan trips. The process is quite complicated and
time-consuming. Especially for those who never leave the country before, they should face problems in communication, cultural interaction and safety issues. I encountered a pack of problems while travelling in foreign country for the first time, therefore, it can be said that the project is built based on real needs. The project proposes a series of simple measures to solve problems in foreign travels to make traveller' trip relaxing and interesting .

Design Points 1.Realize the function of trip planning and route inquiry.
2 . Integrate tools to order accommodation and transportation.
CONCLUSION
The more additional functions on app, the more complicated its functional structure will be. Broad and shallow structure frame can not highlight the main functions immediately. To quickly solve users' problems in trip planning, we designed the navigation column to be simple and clear, allowing user to know the product's function and structure immediately .
3. Weak, delete or change functions including travel guides sharing and adopting.

Project FIVE The sanitarium should belong to the medical institution and not to the hospi-
tal. Nursing homes use therapeutic factors (including natural healing factors and artificial physical and chemical factors) as the main means, and adopt an integrated comprehensive healing method that integrates healing factors with medical technology, mental health, and life services.
Environmental art design
2015.4-2015.6 Graduation design during undergraduate period
Design PEACE & PROMISING The main idea of this sanatorium design is to reflect the principles of architectural style in a simple, generous, and convenient manner, so that the architecture and the green are mutually integrated and complement each other, creating a relaxed, healthy and friendly healing environment. The sanitarium design fully considers human nature, places the relationship between man and nature at the forefront, integrates design and architecture with nature, and provides an excellent place for people to come to treat and cultivate.

Hand Painted
In the early stages of designing this holiday sanitarium, we seriously considered the functional range required as a sanatorium. So our entire sanitarium is divided into four areas, from left to right: (1) Rehabilitation center. (2) Sunshine corridor. (3) Accommodation Center. (4) Administrative Center.
