Blackfoot Nation members would be included and consulted on every aspect of this project, ensuring the appropriate use of First Nation’s cultural symbolism. This centre will welcome and include all cultures for seasonal displays in the galleries and be a regional draw /amenity for all Southern Albertans. An important meeting between two cultures, British Royalty and Blackfoot Chiefs in Calgary, 1939.
