ACTT Mid-Term Review Update G
reetings colleagues!
The Cipriani College of Labour and Co-operative Studies (CCLCS) was awarded Continuing Institutional Accreditation for a period of five years from 21 November, 2017 to 20 November, 2022. We were due to undergo its Mid-term evaluation in May 2020, however, the emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic caused a national shutdown. Furthermore, due to the national health regulations numerous changes in the operation of business were implemented at the College. One of the most notable modifications during this period was emergency response teaching, learning and assessment since educational institutions were unable to provide traditional face-to-face teaching. Additionally, the restrictions which resulted from the COVID-19 pandemic presented both opportunities and limitations for CCLCS. As a consequence, subsequent to the submission of the Mid-term Review Report in March 2020 the College undertook various initiatives which were captured in an addendum to the Mid-term Review

Report. The following were some of the key activities undertaken during April 2020 to March 2021 which were highlighted in the report: i.Strategic Plan review and adjustments in response to COVID-19 ii. Emergency response teaching, learning and assessment iii. Curriculum changes - Review of OSHE, creation of Accelerated Practitioner’s Certificate iv.Webinar series and panel discussions v. Communication and support services to students The College had to be agile and adaptable in its response to the COVID-19 pandemic. At the core of its operations was the desire to support students academically and holistically to ensure student success. The date for the Mid-term Review Site Visit is yet to be confirmed, however, we are anticipating that it will occur in April 2021 and are preparing accordingly. The Mid-term Review Site Visit will be a one day visit at the Valsayn Campus where the ACTT Evaluation Team will assess the College for adherence to the Accreditation standards. Due to COVID-19 restrictions the Evaluation Team has decided not to conduct a Campus Tour. The Site Visit will be conducted using a hybrid approach. The Evaluation Team will be located on Campus to view our documentation while all interviews will be conducted virtually. ACTT has asked that all COVID-19 protocols be observed and that minimum contact be made with the Evaluation Team. Your support is needed to ensure that your departmental documentation is easily retrievable. Details were shared with each department related to the necessary documentation and preparations required. Persons who will be interviewed will be notified once the interview schedule is confirmed. Thank you for your support in this endeavour as we work together as a College community for a common purpose.
