This sleek and smooth khaki cap is made of a durable Chino cotton/synthetic sports twill fabric that is both comfortable and stylish. As intended, chino fabric was originally made to be light, durable, and comfortable to be worn in British and French military uniforms in the 1800s. However the fabric itself was originally made in China. The military trousers gained civil popularity in the US as Spanish-American war veterans returned who called the trousers Pantalones Chinos which means Chinese pants.
