A collaborative project which was an outcome of the international workshop - To Get There at the Centre Pompidou in Paris, France.
Topic: Re-scripting the interpretative texts
Location: Centre Pompidou
Description: A study on the space of the Museum as it is today made clear the need for chronological points of reference, which is the basis for the arrangements of the artworks and the course of the visit. Elsewhere, it was observed that a certain number of visitors do not “dare” to enter the Traverses (“Crossings”), the interstitial spaces between the galleries of the museum.
Using the graphic charter that structures the space of the Museum and the rules of museum scenography, a reflection on the “scripting” of different interpretive tools (artwork labels, wall texts, introductory texts, maps, chronologies, etc.) will rely on the utilization of neutral spaces: the ground and wall spaces at the start of the Traverses.
