Alumni Where are they and what are they doing?
When the next edition of this magazine is published, in May 2014, we will be well on our way to breaking ground for the new Engineering Innovation Building, or EIB, which will transform engineering
teaching and research at the UA. Before we look ahead to our bright future, however, let’s reflect on our equally bright recent past. In August we welcomed more than 700 outstanding new freshmen and transfer undergraduate students. In September our research teams were awarded more than $20 million in grants and contracts.
